Profile:
Since 2002, I am serving as professional humanitarian logistician. I bring in a wealth of field experience (15
years) of managing/coordinating multi-cultural teams in varying contexts of Pakistan, Iraq, South Sudan and
Nigeria. The sector portfolio includes Child Protection, GBV, Education, Health/ Nutrition, Food, livelihood,
WASH, Shelter and camp management programs. I have Working experience with major donors like, USAID,
DFID, Global Fund, OFDA, ECHO, AUSAID, SIDA, DANIDA, PEFSA, CIDA, WFP, FAO and UNICEF. A few
major humanitarian responses in which I contributed includes: 2003 earthquake in Iran, 2005 earthquake in
Pakistan, 2009 IDP crises in north of Pakistan, 2010-11 floods in Pakistan, IDPs emergency response in
Northern Iraq, South Sudan, Nigeria.

Major accomplishments:
Rich experience in managing emergency responses and openings/closers of field offices for relief and
development projects in conflict, disastrous, post conflict areas.
Managed local/international procurement of more than $3 million
Worked in the field of disaster response, security, project and crisis management coupled with theoretical
and practical knowledge.
Expert in establishing rub halls and warehouses at field level
Liaison with UN agencies, NGOs, government authorities, and other stakeholders on logistical issues.
Managed stocks NFIs, GIKs, cold chain, assets, generators, fuel, consumables and a fleet of more than
25 vehicles.
Spent 30 to 40 percent time in field offices for providing technical support to field logistics staff.
Prepared monthly and quarterly logistics reports and monthly situational reports (Sitreps).
Managed safety and security of the compound, managed training and orientation for OT staff.
Successfully managed teams, resolved conflicts and ensured that friendly working relationship is
developed among the staff.

Provided logistics support to Iraqi Red Crescent Society; specifically oversee procurement, custom
clearance, transportation, warehousing and distribution of relief goods.
Worked in close collaboration with IRCS and ensured effective liaison with logistics representatives of
the IFRC in Iraq
Ensured frequent information flow and coordination between the field and respective department in
regional as well as in HQ.
Verified and certified the correctness of financial documents in terms of facts and figures.

Ensured that Save the Children minimum standards of logistics procedures are implemented and
compliant with donor regulations throughout the Pakistan Programme offices.
