JOB DESCRIPTION

UD is currently seeking a Data Entry Analyst who will be responsible for assisting in management of
prospective and applicant student data and application materials. This individual will also have the
opportunity to maintain applicant records and files, and enter prospective student data in two software
programs, and assist in information analysis and reporting performed by the Admissions Information
Systems Department.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Updates the admissions CRM database (Slate) with prospective and applicant student data and
received application materials.
Manages data transfers from student database sources (e.g. Banner) into Slate.
Writes reports and analyzes data for use by college enrollment teams and other stakeholders using
admissions CRM database tools.
Maintains related sources for prospective students and applicants.
Evaluates internal reporting processes and runs continuous edits to identify data entry errors
Assists the Admissions Information Systems department with ad hoc requests for data and
information as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Two years of experience with data entry in a professional environment is required or three to five
years of experience in the field or related area.
Advanced PC proficiency, including MS Office applications (including Word, Outlook and Excel).
Knowledge of FERPA requirements for the security of stakeholder information.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree.
Knowledge and experience using student information systems such as Slate and Banner, or similar
software programs.
Reporting or information analysis experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Position receives substantial training initially upon being hired but thereafter works fairly
independently of supervision hour by hour.
