DECORATIVE AND VEBSATILE LUMINAIRES
Shapelies are available in three basic shapes;
spheres, cubes and ellipsoids. They can be
mounted individually, in pairs, or in multiple clus-
ters for either qlobe-up or globe-down operation.
CLEAN CRISP APPEABANCE

All mounting hardware is designed to beconcealed
within the mounted luminaire. The assemblies
mount and Interlock for a clean transiiion between
base and globe with no exposed screws or bolt
heads to mar the silhouette. Shapelies are de-
signed to coordinate with the ITT Outdoor Lighting
Decorator Series ol round or square poles, pods
and arms. (See separate brochure for information.)
A total lighiing concept that will enhance and accen-
tuate the archileciural design of any given area.
GLOBE SELECTION
Each globe is tough, high impact-resistant acrylic
that will not discolor or impede the distribution of
light from within. Globes are available in clear,
smoke, b.onze or opal white. The globe assembly
is outf itted with an internal twist-turn locking ring

SHAPELIES
which secures to the base assembly and is easily
removable for servicing. An internal heat shield is
also provided to give maximum component life.
Optionally available with an internally mounted
prismatic ref ractor (with remote ballast only) for
un:ts of 250 watts or less.
WEATH ER-TIGHT OPEBATION
The entire assembly is gasketed to eliminate
entrance of bugs or contaminants and to provide a
completely weather-tight integrity. With this
gasketry fixtures may be mounted for either globe-
up or glob+down without extra servicing.

Components
BASE CONSTRUCTION
Cast aluminum bases are iinished with baked-on
matte black acrylic enamel and are outf itted with a
locking spring to provide positive.lock with the
globe locking ring. Components are further pro-
tected with a housing coverthat iseasily removable
for servicing. Sockets are mogul base porcelain
lamp-grip type. Base unit is optionally available
in decoraior colors, see list paqe 3.
BALLASTRY
Shapelies are available in 70 to 150 watt High
Pressure Sodium with reactor or Iaq auto type
ballasts, in 100 to 250 watt l\4ercury Vapor units
with regulated type ballasts. lncandescent fixtures
are also available where no ballastry is required.
MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS
With ioday's focus on planned communities the
Shapelies Series are an excellant choice for apart-
ment communities, shopping centers, country
clubs, campuses, malls, parks, parking areas, walk-
