Drafting Exercises (Hw2)

INSTRUCTION FOR INSTRUMENTAL FIGURES:

o Print all files under Instrumental Figures.
o Choose any two (2) Instrumental Figures (from Figs. 26, 27 & 28) and draw the
figures mechanically following the steps shown in Figure Exercises 1&2.
o One (1) figure per sheet.
INSTRUCTION FOR GEOMETRICAL BASIC CONSTRUCTION PROBLEMS:
o Print the files under Geometrical Basic Problems pages 1 to 7.
o Watch, study and learn the Geometrical Construction PowerPoint.
o Read the theory.
o Using uni-papers or short bond papers with borders and title block, choose eight
(8) problems out of 15 and follow the steps in solving and indicate steps, titles,
etc. in engineering lettering. One (1) or two (2) problem/s per sheet.
o Use 6H for the construction lines; HB for lettering and given lines; & F for the
Solutions.
o Use 2/4/4 Guidelines in lettering.
o Complete the title block using ball pen for each page indicating sheet number.

o Watch, study and learn the Instrumental Figures PowerPoint.
o Print Instrumental Figures: 26, 27, & 28 as guide.
Bring the following on 3rd week:
o Compass and complete drawing instruments & other support materials.
o Mapua Drafting Paper with border line & title block.
