To be granted a licence to practice professional engineering in Ontario, applicants must


meet all the requirements as outlined in the PEO's Licensing Guide and Application for
Licence. Successful completion of the IEEQB program fulfils the PEO's academic
requirement for licensure.

Students in the IEEQB program will be required to complete an individually tailored


undergraduate academic bridging program that covers the confirmatory examination
requirements as determined by Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), and complete three
complementary courses: Principles of Engineering Economics, Law and Ethics in
Engineering Practice (this course does not replace the requirement to write the PEO's
Professional Practice Examination), and Communication in the Engineering Professions.
Students wishing to improve their English proficiency may opt to take English as a
Second/Additional Language courses through the G. Raymond Chang School of
Continuing Education.
Tuition fees are the same as those charged to domestic undergraduate engineering
students at Ryerson University.
