GET Special Takaful Award & Recognition (S.T.A.R) 2015

GET S.T.A.R 2015 is an annual platform to recognize the Great Eastern Takaful (GET)
extraordinary producers. S.T.A.R is abbreviation of Special Takaful Award & Recognition. It is
designed to build achievement and a gateway to encourage you to accomplish many more in your
drive towards distinction. It is indeed a dedication to raise GETB top producers to stardom.

GET S.T.A.R 2015 will comprise of 6 categories.

Note
1. STAR Invitation is an exclusive invitation to celebration ceremony at local destination.
2. The Annualised Contribution (ANC) is accumulated in DCMS with statistics codes listed as
APRM24_B_C and IL_APREMRC and can be viewed at DCMSs Agent Production by Month
DC Rep Annualised Premium. Annualised Contribution from i-Great Abadi and Takaful GSR is
excluded.
3. Rookie Agent means New Agent being appointed for First Time in Great Eastern Takaful from 1
January 2015 to 31 December 2015. This does not apply to those who were terminated,
reinstated and reappointed (including those reappointed after a lapse of 3 years) and does not
include conversion from Great Eastern Life.

4. The requirement of 10K production of Rookie Agents in Part 2 must be obtained from 1 January
st
2015 31 December 2015.
5. New Malay Agents means First Time being appointed as a Great Eastern Takaful agent rank
only. New Malay Agents who were terminated, reinstated and reappointed will be excluded for the
contest and does not include conversion from Great Eastern Life.
6. Top Regional Producer Personal Production is open to all ranks.
7. Group Manager/Group Agency Manager, Unit Manager/Agency Manager, Family Takaful
Advisor/Career Agent, and Agent must achieve their respective maintenance quota and maintain
their respective position in 2015.
8. GM is inclusive of GAM and GM and UM is inclusive of AM and UM.
9. First Year Persistency refers to 12 months persistency ratio on premium for New Business Period
from 1 October 2013 to 30 September 2014 as indicated by PR12_A_C in DCMS.
10. The in force cases include all new business regular contribution Traditional and Investment
Linked, except i-Great Abadi.
11. All cases must be in force for a minimum period of 12 months (one certificate year)
12. Any qualified cases that lapsed, terminated, surrendered or free look will be adjusted accordingly.
13. The term PR Minimum Persistency Ratio refers to 12 months persistency ratio on contribution
for new business (NB) period from 01.10.2013 to 30.09.2014 as indicated by PR12_A_C in
DCMS.
a. PR is defined as First Year Persistency ration on new certificates sold from 01.10.2013 to
30.09.2014 which remains inforce at the end of the first year certificate year, calculated
on annual Contribution basis. The PR code used in DCMS is PR12_A_C.
b. DC reps who join during PR period (01.10.2013 to 30.09.2014) will also be reviewed
using the same period. Eg: Date of appointment = 20.05.2014 -> PR used = 01.10.2013
to 30.09.2014. In such instances, we will effectively check the PR from his appointment
date (20.05.2014) to the end period (30.09.2014).
14. DC reps who joined after the PR period (01.10.2014 onwards) will be reviewed using the next
available PR, i.e. from the month of appointment or re-appointment. Eg: Date of appointment =
15/11/2014 -> PR period used = 01.11.2014 to 31.10.2015. This rule is also applicable to those
who are re-appointed from 30.09.2014 onwards.
15. If a UM qualifies on DG category but does not have DG PR for the period, the PR will be based
on PS for the same period. Eg: An Agent is promoted to UM is 2015 and has qualified for DG
category on production. However, he/she was an Agent during period from 01.10.2013 to
30.09.2014, his/her DG PR will be zero. The PR used will be based on his/her PS from period
01.10.2013 to 30.09.2014.
16. If a GM qualifies on WG category but does not have WG PR for the period, the PR will be based
on WU for the same period. Eg: An UM is promoted to GM is 2015 and has qualified for WG
category on production. However, he/she was an UM during period from 01.10.2013 to
30.09.2014, his/her WG PR will be zero. The PR used will be based on his/her whole unit from
period 01.10.2013 to 30.09.2014.
17. The Company reserves the absolute right to amend, waive and/or substitute the aforementioned
award, criteria and conditions in part or in total at its sole discretion, in the manner and time it
deems appropriate. In the event of any dispute or disagreement over any systems discrepancy or
recording of any production or accumulations of the qualifying production points and score, or
award accorded by the Company, the decision of the Company is final. No appeals will be
entertained.
