A non-profit organization, Akhuwat is striving to promote the culture of self -reliance in the
lowest economic strata of the country, by granting interest-free loans to the poor. The
inspiration behind the formation of this organization came from the historic event, when the
immigrants from Mecca were successfully incorporated into the socio -economic fabric of
society, due to the large hearted generosity of the people of Madina

This is what Akhuwat is doing. It is working towards building a more humane society that
does not believe in charity and doles but believes in dignity of human kind and aims to
preserve it.

Life is a perpetual endeavour, an endeavour towards peace, humanity, happiness and

prosperity. Let us build bridges, bridges that are an extension of humanity.
