Please review my thoughts and questions noted below and let me know your answers.

1. Which is the role/scope of the removable part, indicated with light brown color in your image? it doesnt concern
your design, you just must not place anything there
2. Which is the role/scope of the inside part, indicated with light blue color in your image? as stated is the start from
where you can put things inside
3. Do you already have the PCB designed? I will need information about it for implementation in the design. The best
should be a 3D model generated by the software used to design it. If not available, at least detailed information
about its geometry (maximal height of the components on each size, position of the connecting wires with the
motor, mounting holes if available, thickness of the board) you just need to create the rotating part, this doesnt
concern you
4. You figured the length of the plastic cylinder as 50mm, but the indicated motor has 49.4+/-0.5mm. This is not
possible. the motor will be placed in a vertical position.
5. For the sake of correct figuring of the parts in the sketch and to be sure that we are on the same page, the motor is
represented in the plastic cylinder as a red filled rectangle, while I expected to see it depicted as a filled circle (the
transversal section of the motor). Please clarify this issue.
6. Which is the functional role of the 15mm width strip that separates the two sections of the cylinder? it holds the
deadbolt handle/key(you just must not put anything inside it)
7. You mentioned that: the cylinder has to be able to move centimeter backwards out of its regular positon,. It
doesnt make sense. Please explain. - http://i.imgur.com/ndAGmSG.png
8. Please provide some information about the maximal size allowed for the outer case and how it is intended to be
mounted on the door. Please provide a hand sketch if needed for clear information. as small as possible, 5mm and
the plastic 2mm, so max 10mm more
9. You mentioned that: - by your design we need to know what will be the shaft size and axile length of the motor.
Apart from considering that other information about the motor is possible only if I propose a better motor solution,
what do you mean by axile length? It doesnt make sense for me. Maybe you didnt used the right or correct
words, please explain. axis - http://i.imgur.com/1sUizN3.png you can see the full picture in the motor description,
if you can offer anything better it would be ok, but our current solution has 0.15A at 12V at 0.2N-m load we havent
found anything better.

These is the information I need to start this design.

Regarding the payment, given the project type, I prefer to work on this kind of projects on hourly rate basis. My hourly rate is
20USD/h. Supposing that I will have available all the requested information, I need about 10 hours for a first concept design.
This is a rough estimation.

The deliverables for the design on this stage will be concept drawings, rendered images and the 3D model (on request). After
receiving your comments or approval I will see what will follow on (revisions, continuation with the manufacturing drawings
and files, etc.). Anyway, I should expected from you to mention exactly the deliverables for this project. we need only
mechanical drawings, nothing in 3D or rendered
