The Robey Chicago Announces Expansion, Introducing The Robey Hall

The Robey Chicago, the urban retreat situated within Chicagos trendy Wicker Park
neighborhood, announces expansion plans that bring another stylish boutique property to
the Chicago collection. The Robey, named one of Travel + Leisures Nest New Hotels in
the World 2017 and included in Cond Nast Travelers Hot List 2017: The Best New Hotels
in the World, is excited to declare the arrival of new sister-property The Robey Hall, offering
guests 20 unique and affordable multi-bedded loft style rooms, H! Bar - the modern lobby
caf, bar offering live music and more.

Originally opened as The Hollander, operated by Mexico-based Grupo Habita (along with
The Robey), the property is undergoing minor renovations and transforming the mix of
private and shared hostel-style rooms to all fully private lofts. This exciting transformation
allows the property to serve as a fluid extension of The Robey, and better meet the desires
of guests who have placed high demand on the private rooms since opening in December
2016. Together, The Robey and The Robey Hall offer a combined 89 signature hotel rooms
in heart of Wicker Park and Bucktown.

The Robey Halls goal remains to bring people together who love design, music, the arts
and culture, mix them all up and have a great time and a good nights sleep. Urban amenities
will remain staples at The Robey Hall including a complimentary bike sharing program in
partnership with tokyobike, complimentary Wi-Fi access and a curated vinyl and live music
program at H! Bar. The urban-chic boutique hotel will encompass 20 rooms boasting three
rooms types: 2 Queens; 1 Queen + 1 Twin; and 1 Queen + 2 Twins (Bunk). Set-ups welcome
solo travelers, couples, groups of friends, or the whole family.

In addition, the hotels lobby bar H! Bar has become a destination for incredible live music
performances with a recently unveiled summer lineup featuring Chicago artists V.V.
Lightbody, Glam Camp, Krystal Metcalfe, Matthaus, Tara Terra, Tyler Sjstrm, and more.

The Robey Hall is located within the historic Hollander Fireproof Warehouse, built in 1905
as a furniture storage facility for German-American Albert H. Hollanders Express & Van
Company. Perched at the center of the six-corners of Milwaukee, Damen and North
Avenues, where Chicagos two most eclectic neighborhoods, Wicker Park and Bucktown,
meet, The Robey Hall offers guest a gateway to the galleries, cafs, art studios, independent
boutiques, nightlife, street fashion, and live music venues characterizing the neighborhood.
Using a design concept focused on original exposed surfaces, steel, birchwood furnishing
and custom lighting, Grupo Habita brings this century old industrial warehouse space to life
as a neighborhood hotel featuring the bohemian, minimalistic design aesthetic of French
design studios Cigu and Delordinaire. With a signature revered design, The Robey Hall
will join The Robey as part of Design Hotels portfolio this fall.
