Description:
ProjectX is a web based project management system, which deals with end-to-end
engineering process. At the heart of ProjectX is a multi project repository. Using
this system an authorized user can define, plan and execute their project. it deals
with managing projects along with their modules and tasks.ProjectX is really
several applications in one, it can handle everything from their requirements,
proposals, tasks, assignments, client issues, change requests,defects,etc.

The various Lifecycle phases(modules) of this system are Definition ,Planning,

Tracking, resources,Timesheet,Document,Reports and Contacts.The Definition
phase is where we create a project and define various project attributes.We do
required planning module. It helps the employees of an Organization to go through
the modules and tasks assigned to them. The Timesheet module reflects actual
effort according to the timesheet entered by the employees. The Report module
Provides graphical as well as text reports associated to modules, tasks, client issue
analysis, change request analysis, defect analysis etc. It also provides Time series
graphs, Dashboard and variance reports. One of distinct property of this system is
Gantt, it help us to do planning as well as re-planning for various projects, it also
has the capability to actual effort of a particular employee.

Description: GroupX2, a web-based office productivity suite, helps in managing

tasks, people, messages, Calendars, meetings, contacts.etc.with in a organization.

Its features include:

Tasks Management, where in it allows a team to proactively manage tasks,

prioritizes Work and se relevant deadlines. Calenders, helps in tracking time, plan
for meetings, important tasks, Reminders, etc., Messaging, acts as internal
messaging system and even the internet based email. Contacts,helps in
maintaining single corporate wide contacts database which then used to manage
leads, Prospects, and customers. Files and Documents help in sharing the
important files and documents through the organization. Meetings, helps in setting
up the meetings and reserve meeting rooms and inform all those attending.
Security, every team member has a separate login id and password. So, users can

ABOUT PROJECT:

I have done this project as a trainee under Choice Software Limited, Hyderabad.
The main purpose of this project is to access the results of examinations through a
WAP enabled System.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Need of this project:
In present arena if anyone wants to know their
results they have to go to Internet caf and there you must get access the net
connection and by entering the registered number you can get the results, which
consumes a lot of time. To avoid all these, we have developed this project, by
using our project you can get the results in your mobile instead of going to the
net waiting for your slot. Because having a PC and Internet connection is an
expensive task, and in current situation buying a mobile phone is not so much
expensive. The main advantage of our project is its mobility, that is you can get
access to the World Wide Web through wireless.

MODULE:

The project module consists of writing java servlets and generating WML using the
Deckit Emulator to check results. In this module, the database connection is made
using servlets to connect to the Oracle database server through JDBC and by
generating WML to make the reserved data to be able to be viewed on a Wap
Enabled phone. Here the first servlet is written to retrieve the Hall ticket number
entered by the User. The second servlet is connectedto the first retriving the
results related to that hall ticket number from database Displaying on mobile
screen.
