Dear students,

week before examination period).

(2) This is a closed-book examination. You are not allowed to bring any reference materials (unauthorized
books, notes, rough papers, documents or pictures) into the examination hall. Any candidate who brings items
into the examination hall that does not comply with the above instruction would be deemed to have committed
an act of cheating. Disciplinary action will be taken against him/her accordingly.

(3) You are reminded to bring these items on the day of examination:
a) Matriculation card: You may not be permitted to enter the examination hall without your matriculation
card. Invigilators will check your identity and take your attendance during the examination.

Handphones are not allowed to be used as calculators. Electronic dictionaries and PDA are also not
permitted.
c) Examination stationeries: 2B pencils, eraser, pen, ruler, etc.

(4) On the day of examination, a seating plan will be pasted outside the examination hall. You are advised to
reach the examination venue by 8:45am and re-check the seating plan before entering the examination hall.
You must sit at the desk allocated to you.

(5) Upon entering the examination hall, please leave all your personal belongings (bag, books, and lecture
notes) at the sides of the examination hall before you proceed to your desk. Please do not flip open the
question papers over until you have received instruction from the Chief Invigilator to do so.

(6) The paper consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Please shade the bubble completely on the
Optical Answer Sheet by using a 2B pencil. Your matriculation number should be shaded and written on the
optical answer sheet. Do not write your name. Write your seat number under Remarks.

(7) If you have questions during examination, please raise your hand. The nearest invigilator will assist you.

(8) The question papers and the optical answer sheets will be collected by invigilators when the examination
is over.
