COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The course is an introduction to the basic concepts in Sociology and Anthropology with emphasis on Philippine society. It dea ls with basic sociological theories and concepts which
include culture, human groups, contemporary social issues and the various social institutions. The anthropological component will deal on basic concepts on physical and cultural
anthropology.

CLASSROOM POLICIES:
Special tests will be given only to students with excused absences ( illness, emergency cases ) upon submission of appropriate letter/document
Late submissions of projects or take home tasks will not be accepted.
Any form of cheating in the course requirements and in examinations will automatically mean zero 0 point/ grade
Policies in the student handbook as regards attendance and student proper decorum shall be strictly observed
