Application Installation Guide

Download & Installation

Login to eMAS and go to the New SI download page.

For first time Desktop Windows Installation you will require 3 applications to be downloaded and installed:
Adobe AIR to install first
Adobe Acrobat Reader (if you do not have yet)
New Sales Illustration Windows application

1. Installation Guide for Adobe AIR

1. Click on Download the Adobe AIR application from eMAS Portal and save it to you folder.

2. Click on the exe

3. On the next pop-up, click on I Agree button

4. Click on the Finish button to complete on installation

1. Download the Adobe Acrobat Reader application from eMAS Portal and save it to you folder.

2. Click on the exe

3. Wait for the Installation to complete

4. Click on the Finish button to complete on installation.

You can ignore this if you have already installed

the anti-virus. If not it will install as default.

4. Click on the Yes button to set your Acrobat Reader as your default application.

1. Installation Guide for NEW SI application
1. Download the NEW SI application from eMAS Portal and save it to you folder.

2. Before installing the Adobe Air, the application icon is white: New SI_1-0-0.air

3. After successfully installing the Adobe Air, the application will have an air icon to indicated that the application is now ready to

be installed: New SI_1-0-0.air

4. Double Click on the application: New SI_1-0-0.air

5. On the next pop-up, click on Install button to begin installation or Cancel button to cancel the installation.

6. You may add the shortcut icon to the desktop or you may remove the check mark without installing the shortcut on your

desktop. (It is encouraged to add the shortcut on your desktop).

7. The application will be installed in the default location as displayed. You may choose any location for the installation by clicking

on the and create a new folder or any existing folder to be installed.

8. Click Continue button to continue the installation.

9. Wait until the installation is complete.

9. Once completed, the below pop-up 1 will appear for a few seconds ( 5 to 6 seconds) before the Login

page 2 appears. This is normal and is not an error. However, if the pop-up freezes for more than 10

seconds, click on the X box on top of the pop-up screen and begin the installation process again.

10. A shortcut icon will appear on your Desktop if you have not uncheck the create a shortcut icon during the

installation process.

Download & Installation New Releases/Updates

1. New SI Installation Guide for New Version Releases or updates

1. Run the New Version of the New SI application by double clicking on the application (after downloading from
eMAS server)
2. The below pop-up will appear. Verify that you have the correct version to be installed by checking on the version
to be installed. The new version number should be higher than the one currently installed.
3. Click on the Replace button to begin installation.

4. Wait until the Getting ready to install this application progress bar finishes.

5. The application will begin to install.

6. The below pop-up will appear for a few seconds ( 5 to 6 seconds) before the Login page appears. This is normal

7. Once Installed, the Login Page will appear with the latest version number indicated on this page.

Download & Installation Uninstall Application

1. How to uninstall the application.

1. You may also uninstall the New SI application by clicking on the More Option down button. You will be presented

with the Uninstall button and also a Run Now button. Click Run Now button if you just want to run the previous

application without installing the new version.

2. Click on Uninstall to uninstall the application.

Note: If you click uninstall, this will uninstall both

your current and previous New SI application.

You can also uninstall this application by using

the Windows System uninstall function.

3. Wait until the Uninstalling application progress bar completes.

4. Click the Finish button to complete the uninstall. Process Ends.
