Issue: Mayor
Profile: My principal place of residence is in the Auckland Council area. I'm a devoted mother of two and proud Aucklander. I
offer twenty years' experience across business, government and social enterprise. I have a reputation for strong leadership and
courage to achieve what others think impossible. Everyday I see Auckland's potential to be a world class city. Sadly it's now
more expensive to live here and harder to get around. Council is holding us back. It's not accountable, gets in the way, doesn't
listen and spending is out of control. I resigned as Managing Director of Xero to shake Council up. My plan will cap rates at 2%,
fast-track housing and transport projects and build a smart city. To do that I'll cut waste and change Council's culture to one of
unity, action and putting Aucklanders first. It's time for actual change. Vote Vic for strong leadership, fresh ideas and real
results. Visit vic4mayor.nz or Vic Crone on Facebook.

Living in Waitakere for 30 years, family with 2 children, JB is employed as an operational management and compliance

Schools in Waitakere every year. JB believes in a better deal for the future generations of Auckland, so every resident has the
opportunity to thrive, no matter who they are, where they live or where they're from. If elected he's committed to achieving for

Profile: My principal place of residence is in the Waitemat and Gulf Ward area.
Mike Lee outspoken councillor marked 'A' in Herald survey. As ARC chairman, Mike led major expansion of regional parks,
ensured port 100% publicly owned, began urban renewal of Wynyard Quarter, opened Queens wharf to public, led rail revival
and electrification, opposes harbour reclamation, supports CRL, light rail and is battling for future trains to airport. 'I voted
against Council's latest rates rise because of hugely wasteful expenditure on IT system and flash council accommodation. Too
many planning decisions are non-notified; too many of our historic buildings are being destroyed; the government-imposed
Unitary Plan will overload infrastructure and degrade Auckland's environment without guaranteeing affordable homes. Council
needs to get back to basic values of public service, be more open, have a no surprises policy with the public, and stop spending
so much ratepayers' money on itself. I will continue to work with Local Boards for the people of Waitemata and Gulf.

Issue: Albert-Eden Local Board (Owairaka Subdivision)
Profile: My principal place of residence is in the Albert-Eden Local Board (Owairaka Subdivision) area.
Callum believes that while young people are increasingly disengaged from local politics, they genuinely care about the
challenges facing our city and would appreciate a voice at our Local Board table. He lives in Mt Albert and is currently studying
Law and Economics at Auckland University. He is involved in debating and organises school debating competitions. In 2013,
Callum was a Youth MP and spoke on the need to address discrimination against people with disabilities. He is motivated to
work together on issues that our residents of all ages care about, like transport, our environment and our local amenities. He
recognises the need to be respectful of our environment, our social capital, and our financial resources and the need to balance
these as we move forward in a quickly growing and ethnically diverse city. Please vote for change, vote for younger
representation, vote for Callum and all C&R candidates.
I have previous governance experience with Waitemata Health Board. Work in the Risk and Safety field. My goal is to ensure
that the community words are heard and acted upon. I will offer fresh ideas. I would listen and take action. Help bring back a
board that is united and supports the shore lifestyle and needs. Parks must not be commercialised or sold and all heritage and
arts areas protected. I was raised in Devonport, later Bayswater, now Milford, and have strong family values. I treasure our
green spaces and Coast lines. I honour our heritage and do believe in our youth middle age and older adults. Together we can
all make a difference to our community. So I would like your vote.

statement of intent can be summed up in three words and three sentences: (1) Consult the people; (2) Consult the people; (3)
Consult the people. Rates must not continue to go up. We should be seeking to bring them down. Returned Service
Associations or RSA clubs should not pay rates. I will consult you and try to carry out your instructions. Kevin W Brett. p.s. Old

I am a hardworking, motivated mother of three and I live in Pukekohe. At present, I am a teacher aide at Pukekohe High
School. The latest Auckland Unitary Plan has laid out the proposed future urban zoning for Pukekohe. It encompasses
significant expansion around town. A series of appropriate traffic solutions is essential for the ongoing zoning extension. This is
my main focus. I would like to be involved and ensure that the future urban planning coordinates Auckland region's growth, with
the need to undertake a decent transportation system for Franklin. I would also like to consult with people to provide
appropriate solutions to ease the traffic congestion during the peak hours in crucial areas. Please vote Danielle Li. Committed

My intentions are: Auckland city contracts for Waiheke, awarded to local businesses.
I am pro the Marine reserve for most of Waiheke - allowing some areas for land based fishing. I would like to clean up our local
streams and waterways by: Greywater tanks required for new builds and accommodation providers. No weedspraying with pine
and coconut oil - these coat our gutters and choke our marine life. Roads: Drainage and gutters required so that the roads are
not undermined by run off. Buses: smaller and electric or hybrid.

The population explosion in Auckland is putting severe strain on our health system. Planning for new facilities closer to high
density areas will be essential to keep up with the ever growing demand. Our hospitals will need to be expanded and staffed
appropriately now. Vulnerable patients such as the elderly, children, disabled etc must not be pushed to the back of the queue.
Budgets are stretched to the limit. Waiting times will get longer and longer without action. I will fight for improved services and
shorter waiting lists. As a former board member, I fought vigorously for better services, shorter waiting times for appointments
and further investment in modern surgical technology. I'm a JP, businessman, chair of the Wilson Home Trust for disabled
