This questionnaire survey is prepared in regards to my Msc Research Dissertation at the University
of Mauritius. The goal of this research is to test the effectiveness of lean construction tools that can
be applied in medium size projects at the Municipality of Port Louis. A lean concept is a
management approach that emphasizes good scheduling and reduction of non value adding
processes to manage project costs.
This questionnaire will obtain your views on existing waste processes, factors affecting project
performance, the feasibility of using Last Planner and Just in Time Lean Concepts for In-House
drain, road and building works.
I shall be highly grateful if you could please spare at least 10 mins to complete the questionnaire.
All your responses will be confidential and served only for academic purposes. Thank you very
much for your time and participation.
Regards,
Mr Mohanut Arshad
