Why Alabama have Tornadoes?
Tornadoes are heavily influenced in Alabama
due to the temperature patterns as cool air over powers
warmth and the environment must be familiar with
thunder storms. The tornado trend is heavily
influenced in the south. This area is known as
Tornado Alley. The dry air moving south from
Canada comes in contact with the moisture filled air
from the Gulf of Mexico. The State of Alabama
experiences more tornadoes than any other state in the
world. It is even known to have the most fatalities
during these storms. The tornadoes in Alabama are
also at times unrecognizable. Most tornadoes are
presented as funnel-looking clouds that rapidly swirl.
What can be done about this?
Scientist have yet figured out a solution for being
better prepared for a tornado. Here are a few tips that
can help you better prepare in the event of a tornado
touching down. Have an emergency kit ready and
accessible to everyone in the house. Have a family
plan in place and have a clear communication with
everyone at all times. Listen to weather radio for the
latest updates regarding a tornado and ay updates.
Lastly, always be on the lookout for changing weather.

Why Louisiana have Storm Surge?
Louisiana is located in the southeast of the
the United States
United State and its located close to the Atlantic
Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. The main reason
causing storm surge in Louisiana is the hurricane that
creates in the Gulf of Mexico. It contains storms and
brings rain to the mainland. The average temperature of
Gulf of Mexico is above 80 degrees Fahrenheit, which
provide a source of warm water(scientificamerican)
and the warm water is the perfect environment to create
tropical cyclones. Thus the Gulf of Mexico create a lot
of hurricanes and move westward with the trade
winds(scientificamerican).

What can be done about this?
Stop 1: Alabama
Unfortunately, there is no way to stop the Gulf of
Mexico to create hurricane. However, we can learn the

skills to protect ourselves. The government should help
people to leave once they forecast there is a surge. As

Why California have Earthquake?
One reason of the earthquakes occur in California
is it locates close to the faults which create earthquake
when they slips. And there are a lot of epicenters near
the faults. Another reason of earthquake is California is
at the boundary of the Pacific Plate and the North
American Plate. Every year, different plates on the
earth will move and sometimes they will against each
other, they will release power that cause the
earthquakes. The friction between the plates causes
stress(conservation.ca.gov).
What can be done about this?
The earthquake is unpredicted so what we can do
is to learn how to save ourselves in the earthquake.
Departments of education can create the classes to
teach the students what is the earthquake and how to
protect themselves. The government should forecast
the earthquake and tell the public when they predict
there is an earthquake through the television, radio, and
text message. When the earthquake occurs, stay away
to the windows or heavy furniture. Stay inside the
shelter in the main shock and leave it after the shock.

Louisiana:

felt by people.
