I have recently working as a Telecommunication Engineer since January 2017 at the largest

telecommunication company of Nepal, Nepal Telecom, which generates annual revenue of about $450
million. Being the student of electronics and communication engineering, it was my ambition to be part
of such company inside my country thereby gaining professional experience.

Previously, I worked as an Electronics Engineer for 5 months (July 2016 December 2016) at
Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Government of Nepal. I used to work in Instrument Section
led by Under-Secretary with a team of 7 members. I was basically responsible for calibration and setup
of all the Hydrological and Meteorological Instruments in all the stations around the country. I had to
mobilize 5 technicians in different jobs imparting them proper knowledge on usage and handling of
those instruments. It was my experience to work in that organization gaining knowledge on
governmental process oriented working mechanism. I got to see closely the technology and how floods
and weather are forecasted using data from various stations all over the country.

From June 2014 to June 2016, I worked as an ICT (Information Communication and Technology)
Engineer in Local Governance and Community Development Project implemented by Ministry of Federal
Affairs and Local Development, Government of Nepal at Banepa Municipality, Kavre. The project was
majorly funded by UNDP and many other donor agencies with the vision to alleviate poverty and
enhance public participation in development by utilizing Information and Communication tools and
technology. I was responsible for planning and implementing the ICT programs targeting public for
efficient service delivery from Municipality. Similarly, I was responsible for the in-house capacity building
of office personnel towards the use of ICT in day to - day activities. I had to setup switches, routers and
servers inside municipality for proper networking and monitor various web services for proper service
delivery. During earthquake of April 25, 2015, I was responsible for victims information collection and
management and use of ICT for efficient delivery of relief programs.

I was among the top 20 students in 7000 applicants to get admission and full scholarships in Pulchowk
Campus, Tribhuvan University at my country. I have been selected to work on 3 governmental agencies
mentioned above through tough competition. But my interest was to work for Telecom Company so
that I left previous two agencies and joined Nepal Telecom. I have completed my Msc in Information and
Communcation Engineering with 83% and Bachelors Degree in Electronics and Communication
Engineering securing 75.32%
