A study on "Advertising effectiveness" of cars in Toyota Kirloskar

Motors Pvt. Ltd

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY IN MY OPINION

1. To avoid mistakes due to poor communication.

2. It helps in analyzing alternative strategies.


3. It enhances the advertising efficiency.
4. To make sure the advertisements made by Toyota Kirloskar Motors
Pvt. Ltd. reach the customers.
5. To select an appropriate media for advertising the cars.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

Advertising is a very important tool in marketing. Effective

Advertising helps in increasing the sales for any

manufacturing industry. This project will help in

determining the effectiveness of advertising of cars by the

Toyota Kirloskar Motors Pvt. Ltd. Cars are the main

product of the Toyota Kirloskar company.

The chapters will also help in determining the campaign

planning process, the types of media used by the

company for advertising their products. Advertising

objectives, advertising budget, various advertising

strategies implemented to help in selling the cars can also

be determined from the chapters.

Also, we can get some knowledge about the nature, Board

of Directors, Organization chart, Business operations,

SWOT analysis, a brief profile of the product, functional

chart & future growth of the company.

The chapters will help to study the scope, limitations and

objectives of effectiveness of advertising in the company.

This chapters will also help in determining the

methodology and sources of data and information

collected

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY:

The main sources used for the data collection are from the website of the

Toyota Kirloskar Motors Pvt. Ltd. (www.toyotabharat.com)

The sources for the information is also collected by visiting the Toyota

Kirloskar Motors Pvt. Ltd. office.

The two kinds of data collection used for the study of effectiveness of

advertising are :

a. Primary data

b. Secondary data

a. Primary Data:

It is the collection of data during the course of the study or through

direct communication with the respondent in one or the other form. The

collection of data in this chapter is done by the means of Questionnaire.

The questionnaire for formulated keeping in mind the objectives of the

research.

Primary data are basically the first hand information collected through

various methods such as observation.interview and mailing.

b. Secondary data:

Secondary data is used to strengthen the primary data by referring the

company reports, books, websites and customer reviews.

SAMPLE SIZE:

The sample size for the data collection is 100 customers in Toyota

Kirloskar Motors Pvt. Ltd.

SAMPLING TECHNIQUE:

Simple random sampling technique is used for the purpose of arriving at

a sample size.

RESEARCH TOOLS:

The research tools for collection of the data are direct observation, direct

communication with the respondents, the Toyota Kirloskar Motors Pvt.

SCOPE OF THE STUDY:

There are various scopes of studying advertising effectiveness. They

a. It helps in planning an effective strategy to be used in advertising

the products to attract many customers.

b. It helps the company in making the correct decision.

c. It helps in satisfying the customer needs and wants.

d. It helps in identifying the problems faced during advertising

camaign.

This gives the view of the project report and mentions the outline of the

chapters.

CHAPTER 1:- INTRODUCTION

This chapter contains the basic information about the Advertising

Effectiveness.

This chapter mainly contains the theoretical background of the study.

This chapter contains few informations about the Toyota Kirloskar Motors

Pvt. Ltd. It contains Inception, Type, Nature, Board of Directors,

Organization chart, Business operations, SWOT Analysis,

Product/Service profile, Market share, Competitors, Functional chart,

Future prospectus/growth.

CHAPTER 4:- DATA ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION

This chapter contains the title of the table, data table, analysis of the

table, inference of the table, graphical representation of the data

collected .

CHAPTER 5:- SUMMARY OF FINDINGS AND CONCLUSION

This chapter contains findings, suggestions and conclusions of the

study. The findings are summarized and presented in paragraph form

and numbering form. It also contains the conclusions to justify the

objectives of the study.

This is a final selection, which contains the questionnaire and

bibliography of various books and other sources of information required

to measure the advertising effectiveness in Toyota Kirloskar Motors Pvt.
