TASK:
As a journalist for the Religion Today magazine, you are to write a feature article
investigating how your chosen faith tradition utilises different styles of prayer as
part of their beliefs and practices. You can choose from any of the faith traditions
examined in class or from the world religions of Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam,
Judaism, Christianity and Aboriginal spirituality. You are required to examine one
particular prayer practice in detail. You will need to draw conclusions as to what
adherents of your chosen faith tradition gain, both religiously and personally,
from undertaking these prayer practices.

Assessment Type: Written Feature Article

Length: Written 500 - 600 words

Preparation Time: 3 weeks in class and at home
