1280f Approved Initial Assessments for 17-18

An initial assessment is an assessment that will be delivered to all students,

cover a more extensive aspect of the standards, and assist with identifying a
possible area of concern for a student in English Language Arts. Schools
should select one Initial Assessment from this list for use during the 2017-18
school year. This assessment must be administered to students within the
first 30 days of the academic year.
