Chapter 1 TCP/IP Protocol Suite 22 sections,


Chapter 2 Network Infrastructure 15 sections,
Chapter 3 TCP/IP Attacks 16 sections,
Chapter 4 Cryptography Concepts 19 sections,
Chapter 5 Information Security 11 Sections,
Chapter 6 Network Applications 11 Sections,
Chapter 7 Network Application Attacks 15 sections,
Chapter 8 Windows Operating System Overview 28 Sections,
Chapter 9 Linux Operating System Overview 33 sections,
Chapter 10 Endpoint Attacks 17 sections,
Chapter 11 Network Security Technologies 25 sections,
Chapter 12 Endpoint Security Technologies 10 sections,
Chapter 13 Security Data Collection 20 sections,
Chapter 14 Security Event Analysis 9 sections.

All have an introduction section and a section with a lab where you implement whats talked
about in the chapter; also the last section is the challenge test that needs to be completed with
bronze in order to get the voucher for the exam.
You get unlimited attempts for the challenge.

99% of the class is just pages with a video, some text to read based on the chapter and video
and then questions. At the end of each section is a Lab (Not the traditional sense in that its
graded at least not yet) and then a Challenge, the challenge is your graded part for that
chapter. You can get Gold, Silver, Bronze based on how well you do and need at least Bronze in
all chapters to finish that section and quality for the final exam.
Every page has questions to test your knowledge from that subject, so far if you get them
wrong I have not found a way to go back and retry, the challenge at the end however you can
retake to get a better score.

Labs are a mix of IOS devices with direct console access, Windows, and Linux. So far Kali seems
to be the distro used (makes sense its purpose is for Pen Testing and such) All of the stuff is
probably coming from an ESXi hypervisor and loaded via your browser. I am using Windows 10
Anniversary as my Host OS with Firefox as my browser.
