of them arent lottery winners

writing of this book, I have won
the lottery a total of
SEVEN times thats right, you
heard me correct, SEVEN times.
If you dont believe me, go ahead, look my name up, Richard
Lustig, Im not joking. I have made special appearances on Good
Morning America and I even have my picture posted in the Ripleys
Museum, because I am the only one who has ever won the lottery
this many times.
My seventh grand prize was a total of $98,992.92. So obviously, my
system to win the lottery really does work. Im not trying to brag
here, Im just trying to explain to you that my system REALLY
DOES WORK and I have proof (me).
My first lottery game grand prize was a total of $10k and that was
back in 1993. In 2002, I won a total of 842,152.91 from the Florida
Lottery.

I have about winning
the lottery and seeing
people talk about how
they are struggling to
win really makes me
sad. It makes me
wonder what exactly do people struggle with? Why cant they just
win like I do? Then, I realize those people do not have the
knowledge I have they do not understand what it takes to win! So
today, in this chapter of my book, I am going to tell you why most
people struggle to win the lottery.

They Play Quick Picks

I am a firm believer in picking your own winning lottery numbers

I cannot stand that annoying quick-pick option, because it sucks so
many people in. I dont care how you pick those numbers, once you
choose your numbers, research them research will get you far. This
is something we were taught at a young age. Whats the purpose
behind researching the numbers? Well, you need to
research them in order to find out if they are a good set of numbers.
If you find they are good numbers, then by all means, stick to them.
Honestly, take it from me, I do not use any magic formula to pick
my numbers. Every day, I receive emails asking what my magic
formula is. I always reply by telling them One number does not
win the jackpot; a set of numbers does.
I always look at buying quick-picks as the lazy way out. Why would
you want to take the lazy way out when so much money is at stake
here? With quick-picks, the computer is picking your numbers, so
no, please, do not play quick-picks.
Quick picks are the worst thing out there, you will be playing with
the worst odds.
In chapter 3 of this eBook, I will go into more detail as to why I
despise Quick Picks.
No Strategy in Place Not Taking Enough Time to Do Research
Those who have no strategy in place and do not take enough time to
do research on their numbers are the very ones that are struggling to
win. Take it from me, the research is not an easy process. I have spent
hours on end just sitting at my computer researching numbers. Do you
think I won the lotto 7 times simply by picking numbers from the top
of my head? No. Anything in life that is worth it will take time
nothing comes easy.
Set a Budget
Please, do not go out and spend your rent money on the lotto. You
need to set a budget of exactly how much you can afford to spend
on tickets do not go over this budget. Some get what I call lottery

fever and use their rent money or grocery money to buy tickets.
Then, once this is done, theyre sitting there, depressed, on a Sunday
morning, wondering how they are going to pay their rent because
they did not win the big jackpot like they thought they would.
Remember only spend what you can afford to lose.
They Do Not Stay Dedicated to Winning
If you want something bad enough, you need to stay dedicated. If
youre not dedicated to winning and you continuously choose to
take the lazy way out, your chances of winning are pretty slim. Point
blank, if you want to win, you need to dedicate yourself to it.
Believing the Luck Can Continue
When someone wins the lotto and they believe their luck can
continue thats greed. Greed is something you MUST stay away
from when you are playing the lotto. If your investment goes well,
the logical thing to do would be to take some of those profits and
place them in other investments, instead of gambling all the money
away, believing this winning streak will continue forever.
Not Playing Consistently
Many people who play the lotto do not play consistently. They tend
to skip around and play a week, then take a week off. The key to
winning the lotto involves playing consistently. Follow a system and
stick to it this will require you to play the lotto on a regular basis.
Giving Up
Too many people give up. Giving up is never the solution. They start
a system and when they do not see any results after a week or two of
playing the lotto, they walk away. One of the keys to winning the lotto
involves playing on a consistent basis. I know Im repeating myself,
but this key point is worth repeating. Dont go and give up simply
because you havent had any success. If the system you are using
doesnt work, reevaluate it and continue playing on a regular basis.

Playing All Even or All Odd Numbers
I have done many calculations and have studied the statistics when
it comes to the lotto. I have found that a large majority of the
drawings have a mixture of odd and even numbers.
Playing All Low or All High Numbers
Do not make the mistake of playing all low or all high numbers.
When an individual picks their numbers using birthdays, which most
birthdays fall under the number 31, they need to rethink those
numbers. The solution here would be to change to buying sets of
numbers that includes numbers from 1 to 49 (or whatever is the
highest number in the game you are playing).
Trying to be Selfish
Forming a lottery club may mean you will have to split the winnings
if you are not the one holding the winning ticket, but this also means
you get a share of what someone elses money purchased.
Using Winning Combinations from Previous Games
Some use winning number combinations that have been drawn
before. This is not a good idea. Specific number sets are not likely to
be repeated in a single lifetime.
Using Numbers that are Consecutive
This almost never happens, so I do not recommend it. So many
people play 1,2,3,4,5,6 thinking they will win.

If I were you, I would learn from these peoples mistakes theres a

reason why they are still dreaming about those faraway places, while
I am experiencing them myself.

Chapter 3: How Can You Improve Your
Chances of Winning

Is it even possible to increase my chances of winning the lottery?

Many people doubt it, but yes, it is indeed possible. There are
different methods and techniques you can use in order to increase
your chances at winning.
No, Im not joking. You have some who say The only way to

more lottery tickets. Well, to a certain point, they are correct on that

Others will say its all about luck. I believe that if you want to
increase your odds of winning, you must have a strategy in place. In

strategies with you. So pay close attention and take notes if you must

Learn from Someone Who Has Won

Pick the Same Numbers on a Regular Basis
Once I pick my numbers, I stick to them I never change my
numbers. Once you figure out what numbers you would like to play,
you need to play those same numbers on a regular basis, that is, if
you want to win the lotto!
When picking numbers, some people use birthdays, special events,
and anniversaries and so on. Heck, Ive seen people take numbers
from phone numbers and use them! However, you choose to pick

your numbers, whatever you do, once you pick them, never change
them.
Picking Your Numbers

When you pick your numbers, you dont want to play a set of
numbers that has already been drawn at some point of history in that
particular game you plan on playing. Honestly, looking back in
history, I found a very small number of times that the same set of
numbers ever came up twice in any lottery game in the world. The
odds of that ever happening are astronomical.
All lotteries have a special website you can go to. Since I live in
Florida, I use the Florida lottery site. This site has a field you can use
in order to insert your numbers and search to see if that set of
numbers has ever popped up before. This will save you a whole lot
of research. Once you have developed the set of numbers you would
like to play, go ahead and make sure they have never been played
before.
Dont Ever Miss a Draw
If you really want to win the lottery, you must play every single draw
dont ever miss a draw. The night you miss the draw could be the
night your numbers are drawn! Could you imagine the feelings you
would have then?
Keep Track of Your Cards
I like to keep track of each card I play on the back, for my first
card, I put the number 1 and for the second card, I put the number 2,
and so on.
How Many Cards Should You Play
The number of cards you should play depends on a couple of
things.

First
our state lottery normally starts out at a $3-million jackpot. So, I go
out and buy 3 cards thats $30 giving me 30 chances of
winning. If no one wins, the jackpot should increase to $6-million.
During that time, I go out and purchase 6 cards, totaling $60
giving me sixty chances to win. So, whatever the jackpot is, I play
$10 in tickets for every 1 million dollars. Does that make sense to
you?

Second
I use my winnings to go out and purchase more tickets.
Lets say the jackpot is at $3-million and I purchased three cards
totaling $30 and won $50, but someone else won the jackpot. Again,
the next jackpot is not going to increase it will remain at $3
million. So, what I do is I take that $50 that I won and purchase my
first five tickets yes, I played $80 in tickets, but technically, I only
paid $30. Next, the amount I win increases I win $250. So, I take
that $250 and play twenty-five cards. Do you get the picture I am
trying to paint for you?
Thats what you should do.
Find the Right Type of Lottery
There are so many different types of lotteries Powerball, Pick 3,
Pick 4 and so on. Many of them have progressive jackpots. Lets
take a look at the return and house edge and see how much you
could win if you won the jackpot.

Straight: This involves matching all 3 of the numbers in the correct order. It pays

$500 for a $1.00 ticket.

is progressive, which means the house edge and return will continuously change. Let
me calculate with a jackpot of $100 million. This game usually has super high jackpots,
which is why it is so popular.

Without Power-Play: House edge: 11.8%

Return: 88.15%

Probability of winning the Jackpot: 0.0000006844%

Special note: Do not buy the power play. It does not increase your odds of winning.
Remember, my whole method is all about increasing your chances of winning.

You definitely need to look at the house edge and the return theres a
reason professional gamblers look at these. They understand that
maximizing your chances at winning is all about minimizing your losses.
If you are really serious about making money by playing the lottery, you
need to take on the habits and attitude of a professional gambler.

Additional Tips to Help You Win the Lottery

Do Not Pick Consecutive Numbers

I do not recommend consecutive numbers. If you are playing the
jackpot with 5 numbers and those numbers go up to 55, and you are
playing birthdays, anniversaries, etc. then all your sets of numbers
will only fall between 1 & 31. Thats how many days there are in a
month. So, 32 thru 55 wont get played. Also, make sure you spread
your number choices for each set from 1 thru 55.

Avoid Picking from the Same Number Group

When you choose your numbers, do not pick them from the same
number group and they should not end with the same digit.

Odds and Evens

You need to have a good mix of odd and even numbers. Along with
this, you should also have a nice mixture of high and low numbers.

Pool Your Money

Putting your money into a lottery pool isnt that bad of an idea. Sure,
you have more lottery players, but you will also have more numbers
and more tickets, which increases the chances of winning the jackpot.
Numbers Higher Than 31
Many people have a tendency to choose numbers based on birthdays
(either their own birthday or someone close to them). For this reason,

 if you choose a number that is higher than 31, you will not increase
your chances of winning, but you are going to boost those odds of not
having to share the jackpot with someone else.

Poorly Written Syndicate Agreements

Yes, it is okay to join a lottery pool. However, if the lottery pool
agreement is poorly written, you should avoid it.

tickets and increase your chances of winning simply by having more

people who are lazy or

know any better. I am sick and tired of watching people toss their
money in the wind when they allow the computer to generate their
numbers. I have won a total of 7 lottery game grand prizes and I hand
pick all of my numbers and wouldnt have it any other way.
Okay, enough of my ranting, its time for me to tell you exactly why
quick picks are your worst enemy.

Not Making Your Own Decisions

I dont know about you, but I like to be in control of my life. When
it comes to something big, like winning that jackpot, not making
your own decisions can be one of the biggest mistakes in the book.

No Strategy
In order to win the lottery, I believe in having a strategy in mind. When
you use quick picks, there is no strategy. It is just a bunch of random
numbers being printed on a card for you.

Its Rare to Win with a Quick Pick

I did my fair share of research on this topic and have concluded that it
is rare to win the jackpot when you use a quick pick. Sure, I see a
couple of winners, but it is super rare. The lottery people say there are
a lot more people winning the lottery who buy quick picks. However,
what they do not tell you is that there are millions and millions of
people who lose buying quick picks. A lot more people lose who buy
quick picks than those who pick their own numbers. When you pick
the numbers yourself, the odds of winning, in my opinion, are a lot
higher.

Random Numbers Do Not Work

It has been proven that people who pick their own numbers have a
much better chance of winning than those who buy quick picks.
From now on whenever anyone says to you that quick picks are the
better way to play ask them how many times have you won a lottery

Like I said, it is simply printing out a batch of numbers, putting no

feeling lazy, its better to pick your favorite numbers based on
birthdays, anniversaries, etc. than to use quick picks. Again, Ive

Dont forget about those scratch off games there are many out there
who have made it big from scratch off tickets. There are so many
different scratch off tickets you can choose from.

Do not buy only one scratch off ticket. Buy ten scratch off tickets in a
row from the same game. If you follow this, you will be increasing your
chances of winning. On the other hand, playing with one card only gives
you one chance to win money.
Regardless of what you do, with scratch-off tickets, youll get more
losers than winners. However, learning how to make an educated
choice will go a long way.

Your Price Point

Scratch-off tickets have varying odds, designs and styles. They
normally cost between $1 to $20 a piece, depending on the game and
the area you buy it from. With the cheaper tickets, there will be a low
percentage of winners and the prices probably arent as high as the
more expensive ones. The more expensive tickets, $5 and up, will
have a higher overall percentage of winners with higher payouts and
normally a higher jackpot. In other words, the dollar ticket may win

Buy Your Tickets in Bulk
There are at least a couple of winners in each roll, so it would be a
good idea to buy your tickets in bulk meaning 10 or more at a time.
However, if you know that a winning card has already been purchased
from the pack, stop playing the game for a couple of days, then come
back, start playing a different game or go to a different store. These
tickets are normally sold with a guaranteed number of losers and
winners in each pack, which usually consists of 30 or 40 tickets. The
best way to guarantee you will win something is to buy the whole

box with two same numbers, the odds of winning per play are 1:333.

people isnt their opportunity, intelligence or their resources it is the
believe that they can set goals and make them happen. Every one of
us deal with uncertainty, vulnerability and failure. We are, after all, only
human. Some of us trust that if we continue moving forward we will
figure it out. Im thankful that I am one of those people. If I would have
given up on my fifth of fiftieth loss, I wouldnt be where I am today.

Im going to start this portion of the book off by telling you a true
story about a man who won big and lost it all within the blink of an
eye.
Theres this one guy who won the Pennsylvania lottery back in 1988.
He won a total of $16.2 million, but now, he is living on his Social
Security. How did that happen?

return any revenue. William even went to jail for firing a gun at a bill
collector. After only a year, he was $1 million in debt.
Where William Went Wrong?
Choosing the lump sum option wasnt where he went wrong that is
perfectly fine, as long as you know what youre doing with your money
and plan everything out. He went wrong by being foolish and careless.
He wasnt thinking and was continuously trying to please his family.
Eventually, he had to declare bankruptcy. Now, today he is living off
of $450 a month and food stamps.

You dont want to end up like William, do you? So, lets take a look

I understand, when you win that jackpot, you feel like a million bucks

have always wanted, but before you go right out and buy that dream
house, you need to do some thinking. Do you really need a super big

Not Pay Your Taxes

If you live in a state where they tax the lottery winnings, dont try to
avoid them by not paying them. There was a person in Florida, Rhoda
Toth, who won $13 million back in 1988 she evaded paying taxes.
Even though no taxes were paid, in less than 10 years after the big win,
she went broke and filed bankruptcy. When she was hauled into court,
she was sentenced to a total of 2 years in prison for tax evasion.

Dont Get Scammed

When you win the lottery, scammers will draw to you with crooked
investment schemes. Many lotto winners end up being victims of these
con artists dont be one of them.

Chapter Eight: Learning from Past
Winners

In Chapter 1 of this eBook, I told you how important it is to take

peoples mistakes and learn from them. The same thing goes for
winners you can just as easily take their success and learn from it. In
fact, if you really want to be a lottery winner, you need to take their
victory and run with it follow in their footsteps.

Lets take a look at some of the past lottery winners

Winner Number One: The Enderson Family

This family from New Jersey is in one of my other eBooks, because

this is truly one of my favorite wins. This family from New Jersey went

through some rough times that involved losing their homes during
hurricane Sandy and suffering through an economy that was crashing.
Then boom, right when they were at the bottom of their ladder and
thought there was nowhere else to turn, things really started to look up
for them. Their lives changed when they hit the big jackpot. They won
$20,000,000! This family consisted of 19 children. The father, William,
was born in 1915 and this is where their roots in Ocean County started.
There are a total of 17 surviving siblings, ranging from the ages of 53 to
76. Those 17 siblings split the $20.1 million win amongst each other.

The lesson: What this family teaches us is that there is a silver lining
at the end of everything. Theres always light at the end of the tunnel.
No matter what you do, even when times are tough and you feel as if
you are hanging off of a cliff, you should continue to cling to that rope
as tightly as you can, because something will come along and pull you
up. Who knows, if you keep at it, you could be a big winner one day.

Winner Number Two: Eddie Nabors of Dalton, Georgia Mega

Millions

On March 6, 2007, Eddie Nabors won the mega millions it was a

total of $390 million, which was divided with the other winner, Elaine
and Harold Messner of Woodbine, New Jersey.
Nabors, a 52-year old truck driver spoke on the Today Show and told
everyone that he planned on purchasing a house for his daughter so that
she could finally move out of her mobile home. He also planned on
paying off mortgages for his sister, mom and other family members. As
for doing something for himself, he stated Im going

Yes, thats me! I have won 7 lottery game grand prizes. I started
playing the Florida Lottery back in 1988, when the Florida lottery

When you buy a scratch off ticket, you need to buy 10 tickets in a row

Chapter Nine: Lottery Number Games

In the past, Ive won four different lottery grand prizes and it was all
about simple math.
Like most lottery games, the odds of winning are like 1 in 24,000,000.
Thats if you buy one ticket then those are your odds. If you buy 10
tickets, you have a 1 in 2,400,000 chance of winning. With one hundred
tickets, the odds are 1 in 240,000 and this method goes on and on. So
this means basically, the more tickets you buy the more chances of
winning. This method may sound weird, but the math is simple to
understand and it works.

Buy one ticket and the odds are 24,000,000. If you lose, you purchase
the next drawing with the same set of numbers.
Now the odds are 23,999,999. So basically Im trying to tell you that,
if you use the same set of numbers each time, you will get better odds.
I know it sounds a bit ridiculous, but its logical math.

NEVER change your numbers. This is something I tell everyone.

Changing your numbers is not the way to go. You should always keep
the same numbers every time you play the Lottery.

So how do you choose your numbers? Simple, any numbers you pick
could be a winner. People use anniversaries, their favorite numbers,
or even numbers from a recent fortune cookie. Once you pick your
numbers, dont ever change them and I stress this a lot to all my
readers. Changing your numbers is not the answer.

However, if you have numbers that are the same as the recent
winnings, do not use them. Its very unlikely they will be used again
in the lottery system.

If you need to find recent winning numbers for your state, you can go
to the lottery websites. All state lotteries have websites that have
recent winning numbers. You can check your numbers on the
website to see if youre using recent winning numbers.

Next golden rule is to avoid missing a draw. Dont forget to always

play the lottery. If you miss a draw, there is a chance of losing.

If you play the Florida lottery, you have a chance to play 10 times, for
a $1 each. This increases your chances like I mentioned earlier. You
should also keep track of each card by numbering them on the back.
This method will be further explained below.

So how many cards do I play?

Example #1: Florida Lottery is at $3- Million Jackpot So I buy 3 total

cards for the Florida lottery with all 10 chances played. Thats $30.00
for the current drawing, which increases my chances of winning. If the
current jackpot is at 6 Million, Ill play 6 Cards that comes up to $60.00
for the current play. This increases my chances of winning by 60. For
each 1 Million, I play 1 card.

Now if the Jackpot is at 43 million, I pay $430.00 towards the lottery.

Thats 43 cards of 10 chances each. This increases my chances to win
by 430 times. This is a very good method to follow.

As mentioned earlier, you should always number the back of your

card to keep track. This is to let you know when you need to play
these cards in numeric order. Dont ever change the numbers on the
cards, always keep them the same.

Like scratch off tickets, you win from time to time. Always use the
money earned to invest in more tickets. I use this same method for the
lottery, the winnings I earn goes toward further investing in the

Chapter Ten: Keep a Balanced
Combination

You have some who make number combinations using

all odd or all even numbers. Where do you think this is
going to get you? Obviously, you havent won the
lottery yet, so its not going to get you very far. Yes, I
know, anything is possible when it comes down to a
random drawing, so you would think there is nothing
wrong with using all odds, or all evens. Then, you have
those that prefer combinations like 1,2,3,4,5,6 or
6,12,18,24,30 and 36. Are you like this? If so, your
chances of winning are as about as low as the chances
of seeing a pig fly!

Doing research and looking at the past drawings, I dont
really see scenarios with these combinations. Go ahead,
feel free to check the history of drawings so you can
see for yourself. A routine drawing will consist of 2-
3 odd numbers and will consist of a range of numerical
places such as 10,23,42 and so on. This is why I always
tell people they need to keep track of previous
drawings. This is very important.
When you are out there picking those numbers, you
need to keep that playing card balanced as much as
possible. Let me explain this one more time for you.
Dont go playing one number groups, like all 30s
(31,32,33), nor all single digit numbers like 1-6-9. If
you have been playing this way, squishing all of those
numbers together, you arent playing a balanced game.
Make sure you have an even mixture of high numbers
and low numbers.
If you are playing a pick-five type of game, go for three
odd numbers and two even numbers, or vice versa. If
you do this, youll increase your chances.
The absolute worst number combination is 1-2-3-4-5.
Its almost guaranteed not to win. The odds of those
consecutive numbers being drawn are super low. Yet,
still, it appears to be the most popularly played number
set.

 Chapter Eleven: Ditch the Quick
Picks

Time and time again, I tell people to ditch those quick

picks and I will continue telling people this. You see,
when you choose a quick pick, you are asking the
computer to generate your number combinations for
you and we all know computers really dont have our
best interest in mind.
Computers will generate the most awful combinations
out there they will generate the very number
combinations I told you not to choose. They can
generate all low numbers, or all high numbers.
So, instead of going for those quick picks, go ahead
and choose your own.

Chapter Twelve: When to Buy Your
Tickets

Some of you guys and girls wait until the last minute to
run in and grab your tickets. Waiting until the last
minute is one of the worst things to do. For example,
the Florida lotto game takes place two times a week
on Wednesday and Saturday. On Wednesday, people
rush home from work to go buy their tickets for the
game that takes place that night.
Have you ever done this? If so, what do you find in the
store? If its a city you will find a long line of people
doing the same thing.

Im not sure about you, but I value my time more than

this, so I always make it my game plan to purchase my
tickets for the next drawing the day AFTER the recent
drawing. For example, if the drawing is being held on
Saturday night, and the next drawing is Wednesday, I

 go in on Sunday and purchase my tickets for
Wednesday nights drawing. This way, Im able to avoid
lines and save time.

Chapter Thirteen: Go for the

Additional Draws

Some lotteries out there offer a bonus chance with your purchase of
the ticket. This will cost a bit extra but can be worth it if you win.
You will increase the chances of winning higher cash outs.

 Believe it or not, two of my grand-prize wins were in second
chance drawings. So many people toss their losing tickets
in the trash. They dont pay attention to the rules of the
game theyre playing and they dont even realize theres a
second chance drawing associated with that game.
Therefore, they dont have a very good chance of winning.

So, with these games that offer a second-chance draw, I dont

throw away my losing tickets I mail them in. Obviously, the
more I enter, the higher my chances are at winning.

Chapter Fourteen: Scratch Tickets

When in the store, I hear people say Ill buy one of

these, then one of those, and then let me have one
from that stack. Wait, back up this is not the way
to pick out your scratch off tickets. This is the

equivalent of trying to shoot a small target with a
blindfold on.
What I do is I pick the scratch game that has the grand
prize I would like to win and I only play THAT game.
Normally, I go for the scratch tickets that have the
biggest prize.
Most state lotteries have a website you can go to in
order to see which scratch games have an unclaimed
grand prize. I like to make sure I dont pick a game
that has all of the grand prizes claimed.
Heres what I do. Lets say the game I pick costs $10
per ticket. I start out buying 10 of those tickets, which
will come to $100 total. I buy ten tickets at a time. I
then take that money I win on those tickets to buy
more tickets (again, ten at a time). If you made
$50.00, then you should choose a $5.00 game buy
ten of them. As long as I keep winning any amount, I
continue doing this until I have that grand prize in my
hands.
Now, lets say if I get one of those tickets and it just so
happens to be $500. When the stores put out a new
book of those tickets (there are thirty tickets in a book,
which comes to $300). I buy an unopened book and
put the additional $200 in my bank account. With that
$300 worth of tickets, I start over with the process I
just told you about. If and when I have no winners in
the batch of 10 tickets, I start over with $100.

Chapter Fifteen: Never Change Your
Numbers

Heres a secret I never change my numbers, until

they win. If you purchase one ticket, your odds are 1
in 24,000,000. Now, lets say I play the same numbers
for the next drawing, my odds are 1 in 23,999,999.
Each time I buy those same numbers, my odds of
winning get better and better. They go from 1 in
23,999,998 to 1 n 23,999,997 and so on. Its
practically impossible for the same winning numbers to
come up again and again, so every time I buy the same
numbers, my odds are higher.
Go ahead, talk to a math professor and they will
probably agree with what I just told you.

Chapter Sixteen: Picking the
Numbers

Okay, so heres the real puzzle how on earth do you

pick those winning numbers? Some people pick
Birthdays, family events, and so on. Some people use
stock market numbers, some even pick their numbers
from a billboard sign!

Honestly, there is no magic formula for picking those

numbers. Once you pick those numbers, however, make
sure you stick to them.

I also make sure I keep track of each card I fill out. I

have numbers on the back of them. On the first one, for
example, I put number 1 and the second one has
number 2 on it and so on.

Chapter Seventeen: How Many Cards
to Play

Okay, so how many cards do I play each time? That

decision right there is based on various factors. First of
all, my state lottery usually starts out with a nice $3-
million jackpot. So, I choose to buy three cards ($30
means 30 chances to win). If no one wins the jackpot,
it will probably go up to $6-million for the next
drawing. During that time, when the jackpot has
increased, I increase my cards I then buy six cards
($60 for sixty chances to win).

What I do is play $10 in tickets for each million dollars.

So, heres another example, if the jackpot is $15 million
dollars, I buy 15 $10 tickets for a total of 150 number
combos.

Remember, I number my cards, so card number 1 will
always be the first one I play, then I play card number
2, then card number 3 and so on. I always make sure I
play the same numbers on the same cards in the same
exact order I never change my game up and thats
probably why Im a 7 time lottery grand prize winner!

Chapter Eighteen: Never Miss a

Draw

Dont EVER miss a draw. I never miss a draw. If I miss

a draw, I know what will probably happen the night
I choose not to play those numbers will be the night

my numbers will be drawn! So yes, dont ever miss a
draw.
In Florida, the card you fill out to play the lottery has
ten chances on it each chance costs $1. If you choose
to play all ten, your odds of winning become 1 in
2,400,000 (based on the example I gave you earlier).

Chapter Nineteen: The Extra Ball

Some lottery games will allow you to pick that extra

ball. For example, here in Florida, theres two games
that fall into this category. You have Mega Money,
which is a Florida-only game, and then Powerball,
which is a multi-state game that Florida just so
happens to be a part of.

Lets talk about the Mega Money game. I like to use
this example because this is one of the games I
won a lottery game prize in. With this game, you
pick four numbers from one to forty-four and one
number from one to twenty-two. The final number is
referred to as the mega ball.
When you purchase your tickets, make sure each ticket
you buy has a different mega ball on it. If you buy ten
tickets and three of the mega numbers are repeated,
you really only have seven out of twenty two chances
of winning. So, if you purchase a total of twenty two
tickets, since there are twenty two mega ball numbers,
you will be able to cover each number you will win a
free ticket that is good for the next drawing.

Now, if you match the mega ball number along with

1,2, 3 or all four of the other numbers, that means you
win money. The amount of money you win will all
depend on how many of the other numbers you were
able to match, but even if you only match that mega
ball number, you will win that free ticket. Hey, its
better than not winning at all.

Chapter Twenty: Playing the
Right Scratch-Off Tickets

Playing the right Scratch-Off tickets will involve the following:

1. Not playing $1 and $2 scratch-off tickets. Those hardly ever produce

winners. The odds are greatly against you of winning a free ticket. Stick
to $5, $10, $20 or higher as these have the best chances of winning. On
average you will win nearly 1 out 3 tickets.

2. The next thing you need to do is go to your States lottery website

and look for the new scratch off tickets where the top prizes have not
been won.

In order to play the game you need to first select which option youre
going to go with. If youre not sure what to do, consider the following
steps to playing the right Scratch-Off tickets to win.

are usually only between $3000 and $5000. Most of the times if you
win, youll win just a free ticket. Youll want to stick to the tickets that
are priced higher from $5, $10, $20 or higher as these have a better

You should go to your states official lotto website. Simply look for your

will be $10. You have a 1 in 3.29 chance of winning with a top prize
of 1 million dollars! Now those are some great odds, when it comes to
the Lottery. I purposely chose this $10 game over the $20 game
because the $10 game showed it had more grand prize tickets out there
that had not been found than the $20 game.

Always check your lotterys website to make sure that you are playing
games that have the most grand prize tickets not found. That
information is worth investing into!

When you look to make sure that no one has won any of the top prizes,
you want to search your states website, for something that looks like
the following chart:

Money is 4 out of the 10 prizes that have been allowed. That means
that there are Six 1 million dollar prizes left floating around the area.
More than likely, the smaller prizes havent all been given out either,

Scratch off Game a day

Buy only one Kind of Scratch-off ticket a Day. If you win, take the
money and quit for the day. Do Not Play Anymore. Go home and
enjoy your winnings. A simple rule of thumb to follow. Your goal is to
make a profit every day!

1. Buy 10 in a row. My theory if you are going to play these

scratch games, you need to buy 10 in a row in order increase

 your chances of winning. Remember, repeated losing tickets are
a sign that you are going to come across a winner.

2. STICK TO THE ONE SCRATCH-OFF GAME. DO NOT JUMP

AROUND FROM SCRATCH-OFF TO SCRATCH-OFF. I capitalized
this tip because its EXTREMELY IMPORTANT.

3. Stick to ONE scratch-off game a day and it will GREATLY

improve your odds of consistently winning. Most people feel they
need to buy multiple tickets from multiple different scratch-off games.
You are just setting yourself up for huge losses on the day. By sticking
to the same scratch-off game, you greatly increase your odds and
chances of winning.

4. Make sure you are playing ONLY $5, $10, and $20 scratch off
tickets or higher! DO NOT play $1 or $2 tickets!

5. BUY ENTIRE SCRATCH-OFF ROLLS IF YOU CAN

AFFORD TO DO SO. If you can afford it, buy an entire scratch
off roll. Again, this is another way to increase your chances of
winning. Its common sense that a person who buys ten tickets is
not going to have as good of a chance as the person who buys
100 tickets, so therefore buying a whole roll of tickets greatly

6. Again, remember to play one scratch off ticket at a time. Let me

give you an example of why YOU SHOULD do this. Lets say
you just bought 10 scratch off tickets in a row. You win $50.00

which store you visit; at least as far as the tickets are concerned.

that is also somewhat supported by the fact that the average household
with an income below $12,500 per annum spends 5% of their income on

SUMMARY: DO NOT CHASE YOUR LOSSES. Always play the

odds. Know when to quit. The more time and money you spend
wiselyon your scratch ticket efforts, the more likely it will be that you
will start to crave playing more and more. This could lead you to buying
a roll of scratch tickets. This might seem like a decent strategy since a
roll of scratch tickets costs approximately $300 regardless of the price of
a single ticket.

STEP 2: THE THRESHOLD

Remember that no matter what you do, you need to stick to your loss
limitations every day. Once you spend your loss limit, $20 as per our
example, then you quit. Buy 10 tickets and see what happens, always
stop once you have purchased your limit for the day. THERE ARE NO
EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE (if you really want to win some
money).
STEP 3: ALLS WELL THAT BEGINS WELL

This bears repeating because it is, quite simply, that important.

Whatever game you start with for the day, that is the game you should

also end with. Do not be overwhelmed or seduced by the sheer variety.
Stick to the plan!! If you really want to increase your odds, buy 10
tickets at a time, in a row, of the same game.

STEP 4: DONT GO FOR CHEAP TICKETS

While it is often tempting to purchase $1 and $2 tickets because you

know you can get more for your money, you have to remember that $1
and $2 tickets have: Lower payout frequency Lower payout
amounts. The chances of winning BIG with a $1 and $2 ticket are
astronomically small. Stick to the $5, $10, and $20 tickets. Again, NO
EXCEPTIONS.

TIP 1: ALWAYS Check Your Ticket. There are so many different kinds
of scratch tickets that it can often be difficult for any one person to
understand how to read them all. They all feature different graphics,
colors, themes, icons, payouts, and images that can be confusing, even
for someone who is familiar with them. Even if you win one free ticket, it
is still worth knowing for sure whether or not you have actually won or
lost.
TIP 2: Stick to the plan. Ive said it before and Ill continue to say it
again because it cannot be stressed enough: Stick to the method that I
have outlined for you buy TEN tickets on the SAME roll each time.
Yes, there is a wide variety of methods that you will find if you look
online; theories and concepts that might seem interesting, but in the end
they inevitably fail. If you want to win, you need to use something that
makes sense and can be adhered to every day.
The better you are at cataloging methodic wins, the more successful you
will be at winning with scratch tickets.
TIP 3: Change It Up

the days that you play, it is equally important to track the odds on each
game so that you can know which game to play every day. With all of
this in mind, you should remember that this book is merely a guide.
Dont forget that you should look up information on your online state
lottery website on a regular basis.

Loss Limit and Budgeting your
Game Plan

By having a loss limit, it will keep you from letting your emotions take
over and cause further damage to your money supply. This never
before seen scratch-off tickets revealed strategy guide works well, but

strategy DOES give you the best odds of winning. It is ALL ABOUT
increasing your odds of winning and putting the ball in your court

Once you have your loss limit threshold, it is now time to get into

scratch-off players will never set a loss limit. Your profits will greatly
be reduced if you do not set a loss limit. Many scratch-off players also
try to chase their losses. This is a HUGE mistake. You will end up
losing way too much money that you cant afford losing. I promise
you having a loss limit is one of the best pieces of advice I can give
you. At this point its important to consider a few things before you
start playing Scratch-Off tickets on a daily basis.

You need to set a loss limit!

A loss limit will allow you to set aside a specific amount of money that
you can lose, and not affect your personal life by losses that will come
from playing. It is, for all intents and purposes, money that you dont
necessarily care about. As soon as you figure this amount out, you will
be able to play the game and not worry about losing.
Its a perfect psychological tool that you need to have in order to rise
up. I started with my own personal loss limit, but made sure I
purchased ten tickets in a row of the same game each time.

If you arent keen on the strategy, do not go over that, or else you will
run into problems in the long term. This is not stated so that you are
discouraged, or to say that you wont win, its simply because all lotto
games, even scratchers, are a form of gambling.

One of my major wins was a scratch-off ticket for the grand prize.
This, in my opinion, and as you know, is hard to achieve, but with
pure dedication, it will increase your chances of achieving this goal.

Scratch-off tickets grand prizes can include trips, but many times, it is
for jackpot money. Unless you read the ticket, you wont really know
what youre playing for.

So, lets get to the point. My tactic is actually pretty simple. Simply
pick a game with a good grand prize (I like going for the cash) and
choose 10 tickets off of that roll.

Okay, so how do I pick my scratch-off tickets? I go and search for the
highest grand prize, of course. You should be curious if theres a winner
of the grand prize on that current game. Check the lotto website and see.
All scratch-off tickets have websites that support them.

For the current game I am playing, I make sure I take all my profits that I
win from the scratch offs and put it towards buying more. This increases
my chances without pulling more cash out of my pockets.

For example, I choose a $10.00 game. I purchase 10 of them. This comes

to $100.00. Whatever profit I make from those, I put towards buying
tickets. Now, I take my $100 budget and add it to what I won. Use the
profits to buy more tickets and keep going with that. This is going to
increase your chances of finding that grand prize winner. This is an
ongoing repeat process. But this is how I won additional grand prize trips

find these winners while avoiding the losers or at least absorbing the
losers in our budget until we reach the mid-range or top prize jackpot
that the roll holds.

The more the ticket on the roll cost, the more winning tickets will be on
the roll - because the overall odds are higher of winning. A roll of tickets
will not generally have more than ten losing tickets in a row. This is
especially true of tickets that cost more. That is if you happen to lose on
10 tickets in a row the roll itself still has to pay a set amount. And now it
has to pay out that set amount in fewer tickets since there were 10 losers

I hear this question quite a bit. A friend asked me this question about
how many scratch-off tickets he should purchase. I told him he needed
to first find out what the odds are on any particular scratch off ticket
first. Most have these odds printed right on the face of the ticket.
Usually they are around 3:1 or 4:1 odds, which means that usually for
every 3 or 4 scratch-off tickets you purchase, one should be a winner
of some prize denomination.

Now I can't stress this enough, but it is important. When choosing your
game and you decide to buy a larger volume of tickets, please play all
of them off of the same roll of tickets. Don't buy 3 of one kind of
scratch-off game and 4 of another and 5 of a different type. You're
throwing your odds of winning down the toilet. Buy all of them off the
SAME roll!

You have a much better chance of winning more prizes using this
approach than mixing them all up. Don't be tempted to mix them up

tried each of the following tips out to ensure their quality, and

The first tip is to NEVER play the first scratch off ticket on any
roll. If you look at the counter and there are new tickets, avoid

playing the #1 ticket. It is 99% guaranteed to be a losing ticket.
There are no two ways about that, it rarely is a winner. Out of
all the ticket rolls that I have personally opened, I have never
seen the first ticket win big. I am talking about THOUSANDS
of brand new rolls opened as a clerk, and nothing. I can literally
count on one hand how many people won on the very first
ticket. AVOID THE FIRST TICKET!

With that in mind, you will want to look for the LAST ticket on
the roll. The last ticket that comes on a roll, usually has a huge
payout. I have seen $500+ winners multiple times when the last
ticket is sold. If you can get the last ticket somehow, its nearly
guaranteed that youll win something big. There are TONS of
success stories about this, but getting to it is a bit difficult. If
you have a good relationship with the store clerk in your area,
you might be able to estimate when the last ticket will be up for
sale.

Again, stick to ONE scratch off game per day, win or lose and
youll be fine. In order to be a successful player, you will need
