UEFA A Elite Course

Strength Training Session.

This strength training session was developed for players who are in the period before starting their growth spurt (peak height velocity).

Session should ideally be performed on a fresh day, ideally at the start of the week after a day off.

DESCRIPTION & DIAGRAM
Pressure, Delay and Cover Box 4v4 +1N Defending 2v2 to 2 targets
Area: Set up in a straight line 3 cones 4 sets x 2mins 2mins recovery between 6 sets x 30seconds 1 min recovery between sets
At coaches command players will pressure the indicated cone. ABC opponent yellows start with ball attacking
1: Pressure the cone red defenders try to stop opponent from scoring. red defender passes ball to yellow attackers and try to stop opponent
