To
Whom
It
May
Concern,
As
a
recent
graduate
of
Kutztown
University
with
my
Masters
Degree
in
Education
and
Pennsylvania
Pre-K-4
Teaching
Certification,
I
am
very
excited
about
the
elementary
teaching
positions
that
have
become
available
in
the
Quakertown
Community
School
District
for
the
2017-2018
school
year.
I
have
had
a
passion
for
teaching
my
entire
life,
and
I
cannot
wait
to
share
this
passion
with
you
and
the
other
members
of
your
school
community.
Throughout
my
teaching
career
thus
far,
I
have
been
very
fortunate
to
teach
students
in
kindergarten
through
3rd
grade.
The
various
classrooms
I
have
taught
in
have
provided
me
with
invaluable
experiences
that
have
helped
me
improve
and
refine
my
teaching
practices.
I
have
taught
gifted
students,
ESL
students,
students
who
received
instructional
support
services,
and
students
who
received
learning
support;
this
diversity
has
helped
me
to
think
differently
about
my
planning
and
instruction,
and
has
required
me
to
create
lessons
that
support
each
and
every
student
and
help
them
meet
the
learning
goals
that
I
had
set.
My
time
spent
in
each
of
the
different
grade
levels
has
also
taught
me
that
every
student
is
unique
in
his
or
her
own
way.
I
have
seen
how
children
learn
and
develop
differently
and
vary
greatly
within
and
across
a
wide
spectrum
of
cognitive,
linguistic,
social,
emotional,
and
physical
competencies.
I
have
learned
to
embrace
these
differences
and
use
them
to
create
environments
that
support
both
the
individual
and
the
collaborative
learning
needs
of
the
students.
Furthermore,
my
time
in
my
most
recent
teaching
position
in
a
1st/2nd
grade
classroom
in
rural
Alaska
has
taught
me
some
of
the
most
valuable
lessons
of
all.
I
learned
about
the
importance
of
classroom
management,
and
saw
how
vital
it
is
to
have
something
planned
for
every
second
of
the
day.
In
this
multi-level
classroom,
I
employed
a
variety
of
instructional
strategies
(centers,
whole
group
lessons,
small
group
lessons,
and
partner
work)
to
keep
the
students
active
and
engaged
at
all
times,
and
I
constantly
differentiated
my
lessons
to
meet
the
needs
of
the
diverse
learners
in
the
class.
In
addition,
I
experienced
life
in
a
small,
rural
village
in
Alaska,
saw
the
challenges
that
living
in
such
a
community
brings,
and
was
able
to
adapt
my
teaching
practices
to
meet
the
unique
needs
of
my
students.
I
am
truly
enthusiastic
about
the
possibility
of
obtaining
a
teaching
position
with
Quakertown
Community
School
District.
I
eagerly
look
forward
to
the
opportunity
to
speak
with
you
to
discuss
my
credentials,
experience,
and
creative
new
ideas.
Please
let
me
know
when
you
need
additional
information.
Thank
you
very
much
for
your
time
and
consideration.
Kind
Regards,
Alexandra Huss
