Magic, sometimes known as sorcery, is the practice of consciousness manipulation and/or

autosuggestion to achieve a desired result, usually by techniques described in various conceptual

systems. The practice is often influenced by ideas of religion, mysticism, occultism, science, and
psychology.1

Bronisław Malinowski: Magic, Science and Religion

In his essay “Magic, Science and Religion,” Bronisław Malinowski contends that every
person, no matter how primitive, uses both magic and science. To make this distinction he breaks
up this category into the “sacred” and the “profane” [11] or "magic/religion" and science. He
theorizes that feelings of reverence and awe rely on observation of nature and a dependence on
its regularity. This observation and reasoning about nature is a type of science. Magic and
science both have definite aims to help “human instincts, needs and pursuits.”[12] Both magic and
science develop procedures that must be followed to accomplish specific goals. Magic and
science are both based on knowledge; magic is knowledge of the self and of emotion, while
science is knowledge of nature.

According to Malinowski, magic and religion are also similar in that they often serve the
same function in a society. The difference is that magic is more about the personal power of the
individual and religion is about faith in the power of God. Magic is also something that is passed
down over generations to a specific group while religion is more broadly available to the
community.

To end his essay, Malinowski poses the question, “why magic?” He writes, “Magic
supplies primitive man with a number of ready-made rituals, acts and beliefs, with a definite
mental and practical technique which serves to bridge over the dangerous gaps in every
important pursuit or critical situation.”[13]2

Color plays an essential role in all forms of ritual magic, meditation and all forms of ritual
practice. Colors are very powerful spiritual, emotional and physical energies which influence all
planes. Colors gain their power as timeless elements of nature which are considered absolutes
i.e. they apply to all entities of all realms.3

The interpretation of occult color attributes varies widely among disciplines and cultures; this
guide bases the attributions upon the spectrums of white light, primary, secondary and tertiary
light. It is essential that the practitioner choose a color for a particular working based on their
own level of comfort and intuitive sense for the color selected.

The following attributes can be used for focus, invocation and visualization during
ritual and mediation. It is important to remember that the associations below apply to traditional
Ritual Magic which is in itself a spiritual discipline. One is cautioned to avoid applying labels or
assuming meaning of colors in mundane or ordinary reality as the perception of color is much

different on the spiritual plane.

Spiritually colors are vibrations of Light, entities and energies with specific and distinct actions.
With the exception of the color black, this in ordinary reality is a color, but spiritually is the
absence of light or the absence of color, a shadow.

Visible color exists on a small area of the entire light spectrum, however spiritual color attributes
exist both visibly (monochromatic) and spectrally (not seen by the eye).

Categories of Color

White: Light, all colors combined

Black: Spiritually not a color, but an absence of light.

Primaries: Red, blue, yellow

Secondary’s: Orange, Purple, And Green

Tertiary’s: yellow/orange, red/orange, red/purple, blue/purple, blue/green, yellow/green

Spiritual Associations and Meditations

White:

Spiritually white is the color of spiritual radiance that shines forth from the center of self and
from the face of the All. White is clear and transparent, encompassing the attributes of all colors
and none. White is pure and like pure water has no flavor, yet pervades all things. White is the
spirit of the unman fest, that which is everywhere and nowhere promoting seeing yet it is
unseen. Perception of white invokes senses of creation, all things and white returns all things to
this state.

White is frequently seen in traditional ritual magic to represent the force of divinity, unknown or
divine intervention and invokes the energy of purity and creation to the intention of the ritual.

Black:

Spiritually black is not a real color but is the result when light is withdrawn. Black is the
antithesis of spirit and can be best understood as a shadow, illusion or absolute darkness. The
energy of black exists only because of the light as do all things. Black is hollow, emptiness,
illusion without pretense. Black does not truly exist and therefore it cannot be destroyed but only
banished by the Light. Black is always ready to return the instant the light is withdrawn. Due to
humanity's fall from grace the illusionary qualities of black appear real and is believed to exist
and therefore it is able to manifest as cruelty, hatred, indifference, violence and the one quality

that binds them together is emptiness (Tyson, 1988).

It is because of the illusionary characteristics of black that it cannot exist in the presence of the
Light and thus divine agents associated with the Light such as Angels, deities or nature spirits
associated with fire, sun or lightening energies banish darkness instantly and immediately for it
is universal law that it must cease to be as the flame of a candle illuminates a darkened room.

Black serves as an ideal example of one of the differences between visible color and spectral or
spiritual color. The visible color black serves as a symbol invoking the vibration or influence of
what it represents according to the ritual or meditation. The visible color black is examined in
color theory in relation to other visible colors of the light spectrum. Black does not exist on the
spectral light plane, yet as a true paradox, it does in the form of emptiness, nothingness,
shadow, illusion and absence of light.

Primary Color Associations:

Red:

The color associated with masculine energy, red is the Father, the color of will. Red is action
and activity of command. Red is radiating and outward force. Red is fiery and explosive by
nature.

Blue:

The color associated with feminine energy, blue is the Mother, the color of reflection and inner
emotion, secrecy, nurturing, creation and formation. Blue is the color of lakes, the ocean and the
sky. Blue is passive and accepting by nature.

Yellow:

Androgynous, yellow is the Child, the color

of intellect and learning of meditation. Yellow can give and take, can act immediately or wait
according to the circumstances. Yellow is the color of artistic expression. The nature of yellow is
best represented by the pathway of golden light reflected from the rising Sun on the surface of a
tranquil sea.

Secondary Color Associations

Orange:

The opposite of blue and is the combination of the energies of yellow and red. Orange is a bold
color of material success and worldly triumph. Orange is victory, a champion. Orange is bold yet
not impetuous. By nature orange is pervaded by positive feelings and good cheer.

Purple:

The opposite of yellow and is the combination of the energies of blue and red. The least favorite
of all colors in occult practice, purple is sickness, disease, putrefaction and corruption. Purple is
futility and impotent rage.

Green:

The opposite of red and is the combination of the energies of yellow and blue. Green is loving,
sharing and accepting, it is the color of natural magic and has strong associations with Pan, the
powerful spirit of nature and fertility. Green is the color of all spirits of the forests and jungles,
druidism, shamanism and Wiccan nature spell craft. Green is joyful abandonment, ecstasy,
ravishment and the richness of spring.

Tertiary’s Color Associations

Tertiary colors are the combinations of the energies of the secondaries; they are further
removed from the Light and less potent in magical working.

Yellow-Orange: Calculation, diplomacy, mental achievement.

Red-Orange: Playfulness, mischief, uncontrolled energy but without malice.

Red-Purple: strength directed by cruelty and stupidity, waste, decay

Blue-Purple: Inaction, coldness, physical, mental and spiritual poison.

Blue-Green: mystery, depth, clean, life, concealment, wit, warmth, nurturing

Yellow-Green: new life, freshness, a potent combination of life force energies, potential for
lethality if opposed pitilessly seeking inevitable revenge.

Note: Colors have varying esoteric associations depending on culture and spiritual discipline;
however, they are essentially the same as color is a manifestation of light. Meditation on specific
colors is recommended before a ritual to align oneself with these energies.

PHOENIX QUEEN WITCH

Is Patricia King a Blue Flame Phoenix Queen Witch? She admits that she was a “former”
witch but if she has changed, if so, why did she feature a blue flame burning in a magic lamp
on her web site and television show? When I became a Christian, I was attracted to Christian
symbols, such as the Cross. People are drawn to the symbols of their beliefs; for instance, the
cover of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix depicts an intense portrait of 15 year-old
Harry Potter holding his magic wand in front of a series of doors. It is drawn in tones of
midnight blue, indigo and flame blue.

We also see the power of alchemy to cause a transmutation of magic dust silver, gold,
gemstones to fall in Mrs. King’s meetings. In the past, the wizards and witches, the best-
known goals of the alchemists were the transmutation of common metals into gold (called
chrysopoeia) or silver (less well known is plant alchemy, or "spagyric"); the creation of a
"panacea ," or the elixir of life, a remedy that supposedly would cure all diseases and prolong
life indefinitely; and the discovery of a universal solvent.i

These modern New Age Christians are using paranormal powers instead of alchemists
changing common metals into gold. For instance, the religious clown, Todd Bentley claims
that he saw EMMA-O, the fallen angelic demon that judges hell, casting gold dust on people
in his audiences. Of course, since he banished her from his meetings, we have not heard any
more about this and I might add his ministry dove into the ashes of the phoenix bird.

 When you depart from the firm foundations of God’s Word, then you will fall into the
fantasy world of demons and magic. You cannot replace a belief until you tear down the
underpinning of the old. When the foundations are destroyed, what would the people do?

THE CAULDRON AND THE BLUE FLAME

The cauldron, as the fifth elemental spirit, symbolizes inspiration, rebirth, illumination and
rejuvenation. Use a Fire cauldron with salt-peter to cast a Circle. Use the mists of an Air
cauldron for an initiation. Burn away hate, prejudice and negative self-images, with a Water
cauldron; the Earth cauldron is ideal for indoor Beltane rites. ii

Remember to place a burning cauldron on a fireproof surface. Practice safety when using
any volatile materials and you will enjoy your cauldron for many rites. iii

Worldwide witches and wizards use cauldron to cook their potions. In Africa, they call
them “Pots”. However, they are used to practice their witchcraft black arts. I am citing this
because you can see certain color flames are created for specific magical results. Notice that “a
blue flame burns . . . during the autumn festival.

Using a cauldron, symbol of inspiration and rebirth, has brought new dimensions to both
group and solitary work. A cauldron decorates the center of the Circle during Lesser Sabbats. An
air cauldron at a spring rite creates a misty, magical quality for the ceremony. In summer, the
cauldron will flash and spark. A blue flame burns mysteriously within the Water cauldron
during the autumn festival. Throughout Yule, the Earth cauldron burns steadfast and constant.
During moon rites, when magick is done, we write the purpose of our working on flash papers
and toss them into the burning cauldron while chanting.iv

A working cauldron should be of cast iron, with a tight-fitting lid, three sturdy legs, and a
strong handle. Season your cauldron before using it for the first time. Pour in generous helping
of salt and lighter fluid, slosh it up to the rim and wipe dry. For indoor use it MUST have a
fireproof base or your workings will summon up yellow-coated salamander spirits from the fire
department. v

So, here’s the question? Does Patricia King just like blue flames burning in a magical lamp
as her business logo or does it signify something more? Does it bring magical powers to her
business like most witches believe by burning different colored candles?

Prophet Bob Jones, mentor to Todd Bentley, says he received his spiritual healing gifts via
a lightning strike and a blue flame. Since then his hands change color and go ‘all funny’ while
they tune in to detect various diseases. Any Christian should automatically realize this is not
God or godly but new age mumbo jumbo at best - or blatant lies - or both. (Here’s the link to

Prophetic, who ordained Todd Bentley ten years ago, also mentions the blue flame a lot, see

saw it–the Blue Flame. It was so beautiful. I could feel its strength that is to be feared and
respected, and also I felt its passion. The Lord gave me three points of understanding and
application that I would like to share with you.’”viii

The sun and not the Lord? Are you a sun worshipper? Is this your God, Patricia?

Gnostic and shamanistic rubbish. The blue flame is all over new age and occult and
witchcraft thought. Do a google search if you do not believe me - the blue flame of witchcraft
may only have been part of the wider association of the blue flame with the devil and the
underworld. I did and found out the following in only a short time -ix

Blue flame is a ’spirit flame’ and ancient witchcraft and Wicca representing the soul of the
Old religion. ‘Italian Witchcraft: The Old Religion of Southern Europe’ says the appearance of a
blue flame represents the presence of divinity within the ritual setting. The use of fire as well is
also another clue to the witchcraft origins.

In Hereditary Witchcraft: Secrets of the Old Religion there is a ritual described of conjuring
the elementals (earth, air, fire and water) mentally using spirit blades (swords) and spirit flames
and blue flames.x

In Spirit of the Witch: Religion & Spirituality in Contemporary Witchcraft: a beautiful blue
flame represents the presence of Divinity (but not God, but divinity within).

 Numerous folk legends tell of witches identified by bursting into blue flame.

A High Priest or priestess who describes herself as a witch, druid and mystic muse
visualizes a blue flame of protection around her.

‘Elements of Witchcraft: Natural Magick for Teens’ describes casting a circle to the
elements by imagining a bright blue flame running along the ground.

A person writing on Navajo witchcraft (from Arizona where King lives) writes that warning
signs for the presence of a witch at work would include a blue flame. 8

The 9th century Celtic Christian theologian John Scotus Eriugena coined the term
theophany to describe God made manifest. Theophanies include all spiritual as well as physical
beings, the natural world and ourselves. In Celtic tradition, God isn’t separate from Creation or
from us, though She/he/It is also transcendent and unlimited by the physical.

The burning hand symbol used throughout this site represents the co-creative process by
which God pours the universe forth and participates in it through all of us. The black of the
hand symbolizes the generative, feminine Source of creation. The blue flame is the masculine,
vivifying Force of creation. Blue is physically the hottest color, like the base of a flame, or the
fire of the youngest, hottest stars, making it the color of manifestation

We all have the ability to become consciously aware of our union with God, and act co-
creatively with Him as His hands on Earth as the symbol indicates. When our will becomes one
with God’s, (which is really also the will of our own highest self) all things become possible for
us. With this understanding it’s easy to see why the Irish Celtic tradition traced many advanced
shamanic practices to the Tuatha Dé by virtue of their co-creative power. The Dagda, Father
God of the Tuatha Dé, is the patron Deity of Druídecht, the Druidic arts.

The Book of Shadows rituals have it, and if King’s followers did a spiritual warfare thing

Heather Clark and many others; repent and return to Jesus and His Word. They will disconnect
you from the Jesus of the Bible and link you to the Demonic Awakened Beings they are calling
angels who they claim are from coming through star gates from the divine realm existing in the
Third Heaven. They want to take you through the New Age occultist wormhole to the sorcery's,
long sought "Star gate of the gods." Their witchcraft experiences want to teach you about the
powerful new "electrical energies" bathing your spirits with the anointing of the Ascended

The unspiritual masses of pastors are easily duped by the official propaganda espoused by
the mainstream media, and are blind to the grave dangers of these soul scalpers and that the
return of Jesus is imminent. The only doctrine that most of them have is, “Christians can’t have
a demon and that’s it.” Meanwhile, these demonic radical infiltrating cult leaders are plotting
against Christian Church now, in this, the 21st century creating great evil that they stirring up
from the cauldron of hell. Are you going through a Kundalini Awakening episode or experience
right under the eye of your pastor; is he/she so sleepy that he/she thinks it is the power of the
Holy Ghost?

In the beginning this imitating god, kundalini spirit feels good, the reason it is called an
awakening and the victim realizes fire and warmth throughout the body; then excitement,
ecstasy, dreams, visions, and foreknowledge (false prophecy). Eventually, the Kundalini devil
turns on his prey and brings mental illness, depression, torment and great delusional darkness.

only a few ever return to sanity. Truly, their hope is selling out to Jesus and receiving
deliverance from the kundalini demons. Run for your life from this garbage religion and foolish,
blinded ministers. Seek Jesus while you can still find him.

Psalm 72:19
This is a large petition. To intercede for a whole city needs a stretch of faith, and there
are times when a prayer for one man is enough to stagger us. But how far-reaching was the
psalmist's dying intercession! How comprehensive! How sublime! "Let the whole earth be
filled with His glory." It doth not exempt a single country however crushed by the foot of
superstition; it doth not exclude a single nation however barbarous. For the cannibal as well
as for the civilized, for all climes and races this prayer is uttered: the whole circle of the earth
it encompasses, and omits no son of Adam. We must be up and doing for our Master, or we
cannot honestly offer such a prayer. The petition is not asked with a sincere heart unless we
endeavor, as God shall help us, to extend the kingdom of our Master. Are there not some who
neglect both to plead and to labor? Reader, is it your prayer? Turn your eyes to Calvary.
Behold the Lord of Life nailed to a cross, with the thorn-crown about His brow, with bleeding
head, and hands, and feet. What! Can you look upon this miracle of miracles, the death of the
Son of God, without feeling within your bosom a marvelous adoration that language never can
express? And when you feel the blood applied to your conscience, and know that He has
blotted out your sins, you are not a man unless you start from your knees and cry, "Let the
whole earth be filled with His glory; Amen, and Amen." Can you bow before the Crucified in
loving homage, and not wish to see your Monarch master of the world? Out on you if you can
pretend to love your Prince, and desire not to see Him the universal ruler. Your piety is
worthless unless it leads you to wish that the same mercy which has been extended to you
may bless the whole world. Lord, it is harvest-time, put in Thy sickle and reap.
