Remove the air pipe, the GV drive valve, the piston fixing nut
and the cylinder.

Remove the air pipe, the cylinder, the nut and the GP drive

Take off the fixing bolt and the Gp fork rod positioner.
Remove the GP.

Unlock and remove the screw, thrust washer and with the aid
of a universal extractor, drive the sun gear out.

Note: To facilitate the disassembly, press the retaining pins
and lock them with two pins of 5mm.
Loosen the lock-nut and the screw and than take out the driving
pin, washers, springs, locking ring and the guide bush of the
selector shaft.

aid of a tackle remove the complete shafts assembly with the
respective forks.
Note: In case of gearboxes equipped with interlock press the
pin on the hole of the GP positioner to release the rods

Remove the reverse idler gear together with the needle cages
and thrust washer.

Remove the 2nd speed gear together with the 1st speed bearing
race, synchronizer body, synchronizer ring and the clutch body.
Remove the gear needle bearing.

with the other 4th speed bearing, synchronizer body,
synchronizer ring and clutch body.
Pull the needle bearing out.

Remove the sliding sleeve with the retaining pins and the
springs.
Take care that the pins are not expelled by the springs action.

Using the tool 9X20 500 612 and a press, remove the race of
the input shaft bearing with the gear, clutch body, synchronizer
and needle bearing.

Bomba de leo
Retirar os parafusos e desmontar a bomba de leo.
Verificar a folga axial das engrenagens em relao a face da
carcaa que dever ser de 0,07 a 0,10mm.
Obs.: A bomba no tem reparo. Em caso de desgaste, substi-
tu-la completa.

Unscrew the bolts and disassemble the oil pump.
Check the gear axial clearance in relation to the housing face
that must be from 0,07 to 0,10 mm.

Colocar uma junta nova na face de assentamento da carcaa
dianteira e medir a distncia entre a face da carcaa e o rebai-
xo do corpo de acoplamento.
Obs.: Medir em dois pontos opostos e anotar o valor mdio.
Subtrair a espessura da rgua.
Measurement A
Turn the housing and insert the input shaft until it fits
completely in the bearing and proceed the measurement A
as follows:
Place the new gasket on the front housing seat face and measure
the distance between the housing face and the clutch body
recess.
Note: Measure at two opposite points and record the average

value. Substract the ruler thickness.

dente da engrenagem da 4 marcha.

Measurement B
Measure the distance between the housing face and the flat
face of the 4th speed gear tooth.

The shim must be with min. 0,6 mm and max. 0,9 mm less than
the value obtained.

drio e com o auxlio de uma talha, introduzir o conjunto na carcaa,
observando o encaixe das hastes de engate.
Aps o completo assentamento do conjunto, retirar o dispositivo.
Obs.: Em caixas equipadas com "Interlock", comprimir o pino du-
rante a montagem , a fim de liberar a passagem das hastes.
Place the guide bush 9X95 100 105 on the rear part of the main
shaft and with the aid of a tackle, insert the assembly into the
housing, observing if the gearshift rods fit accordingly.
9X95 100 105 Remove the device if the assembly is fitted completely.
Note: In case of gearboxes equipped with interlock press the pin
16S-86 during the assembly, in order to release the rods passages.
Center the reverse gear and install the shaft with the recess
faced to the locking screw.
Place the washer, screw up and tighten the screw with 150 Nm.

The value obtained will be the shim value.
The shim to be used can be up to 0,10 mm less than the value

Select the shim with the least axial clearance if possible.
Montar a tampa de centragem na carcaa.
Obs.: Antes da montagem, posicionar o canal da engrenagem
interna da bomba na direo do canal livre da tampa da
mesma, para permitir a passagem do pino de arraste
(vide desmontagem).
Apertar os parafusos com 49Nm.
Install the thrust washer of the main shaft bearing with the
chamfer faced outside.
Install the sun gear heated to 120C.
Install the thrust washer with the lubricating pipe and tighten the
screws to a torque of 49 Nm, afterwards, lock them with wire.

Press the detent plunger with a lever, place the fixing screw

Fit on the gearshift shaft the locking ring into the inner groove,
the guide bush, a bigger washer, the inner spring, the thrust
washer and the other locking ring into the outer groove.
Place the outer spring, big washer, thrust washer and the
driving pin, by locking it with na Allen screw and the lock-
nut.
Fit the stop pin with the springs into the respective places.

Montar o pino retm de seleo de marcha a r no local con-
forme a seta.
Em seguida montar as trs molas do pino da r, os apoios e as
molas dos pinos de reteno, nova junta, tampa com parafu-
sos e apert-los com 25 Nm.
Fit the stop pin of the gear shift selection (see arrow).
After that place the three springs of the reverse bolt, the
supports, the stop pin springs, new gasket and the cover with
the screws. Tighten them to 25 Nm.
Place new shafts seals on the side cover and fill the existing
space between them with grease.
Fit all the covers with new gaskets, GP input valve with new
sealing ring and tighten all the screws to 25 Nm.
Install the gearshift lever on the shaft, align the bores and
insert new tension pins.
Grupo Planetrio
Untar com vaselina o dimetro interno das engrenagens pla-
netrias e montar duas fileiras de roletes, separando-as com a
arruela intermediria.
Planetary Range
Spread with vaseline the inner diameter of the planet gears
and install two rows of rollers and separate them with
intermidiate washers.

9X95 000 102, montar o flange de sada.
Install the adaptor 9X20 500 008 on the shaft and with the
tool 9X95 000 102, install the output flange.

With the aid of tool 9X95 000 106, install a new shaft seal in
the speedometer pinion connection .
Afterwards, install the complete pinion with new sealing ring
and tighten the connection to a torque of 120Nm.

Colocar uma junta nova na carcaa e com auxlio de uma talha
e um gancho, instalar o GP paralelamente at que os pinos-
guia se encaixem em seus respectivos furos.
Para facilitar a montagem, girar pelo flange levemente, afim
de engrenar a engrenagem solar com as planetrias. Em se-
guida, colocar e apertar os parafusos com 49 Nm.
Obs.: Pressionar o pino Interlock para facilitar essa montagem.
Place a new gasket on the housing and with the aid of a tackle
and a hook, install the GP parallely until the guide pins fit in
the respective bores accordingly.
In order to facilitate the assembly, turn lightly by the flange to
put into the sun gear with the planets.
Afterwards, place and tighten the screws wih 49Nm.

Install a new shaft seal of the GP coupling rod, usign the tool

lips pointing outward, with relation to the piston.
Afterwards, install the piston on the coupling rod, the nut and
tighten it to a torque of 160Nm.

Montar um novo anel de vedao no cilindro e mont-lo na
carcaa.
Obs.: Utilizar a ferramenta 9X56 000 866 para proteger o
lbio do retentor.
Place a new sealing ring on the cylinder and fit it in the housing.
Note: Use the tool 9X56 000 866 to protect the shaft seal lip.
Install the piston with new double sealing ring in the cylinder
and in the split ring coupling rod.
Afterwards. place the nut and tighten it to a torque of 160Nm.

coincidence of the air passage bores.
Afterwards, place the screws with the washers and tighten them
