Falcon Submersibles Pvt. Ltd. is small-scale industry


located in industrial city Rajkot. It was established and registered as a
private limited company in 1997 the registered office of this company at
7, Parsana society, 50 feet road, Rajkot. And the factory of this
company is also at the same place. This company was started with an

PRODUCTION PROCESS

DETAILS OF MANUFACTURING PROESS OF


SUBMERSIBLES PUMPSETS FOR CLEAR COLD FRESH WATER
AS PER IS: 8034:1989

1) After procurement of casting form the relevant parties the sizes


are cut and stamping are inserted with hydraulic press and
welding is carried on both sides and inside turning carried out on
both sides of pipe. There after lock groove is carried out on the
both sides motor rewinding is carried out. Merger is applied for
continuity checking as well as wiring leakage and the high voltage
is applied for break test checking as well as wiring break test.

2) As per the drawing patterns and casting are procured of cast iron
components like, connecting peace, upper lower housing, motor
base etc. and there after machining is carried out as per drawing.
Finally red oxide is applied in ordered to prevent rusting.

3) Rough machining is carried out on Rotor and Pipe bars and


Stamping inserted. Copper brazing is carried out and finally final
machining along with finishing operation and surface grinding
carried out.

4) Balancing of Rotor is done on dynamic balancing machine.

5) The distance piece is mounted after fixing the motor body on


stand and rotor attached as per the size, and housing is also
attached along with thrust bearing.

6) For manufacturing of the pump, the pump shafts are cut as per
the size required. Complete fitting of the pump is done in the
following order.

Suction is mounted.
Fitting of bowl and impeller is carried out.
Fitting of delivery outlet is carried out.
Fitting of strip joint.

Thus, the complete pump is made ready there after testing of


pumping set as per relevant IS standard is carried out. If testing is
satisfactory, the pump sets is now ready, prior to dispatch of the
pumping sets, the following operations are carried out:

The buffing operation is carried on buffing machine.


The color is applied on the pump sets.
Accessories like strainer, cable guard etc, are
attached.
Data plate is applied.
Packing of pump sets is done to ensure safe
delivery.
Finally dispatch is made.

PACKING

Packing is a part of production process & Packing is necessary


for every unit to pack their products. Packing saves the products to be
spoiled. For FALCON it is necessary to pack properly the final
products. After production process over the packing process start.

After production process, final products are packed in woolen


boxes or corrugated boxes. The products, which are to be send to
customers, are packed well and then after transported by truck, railway,
etc.

time wages. This is oldest & most common method of wages. Under
this system workers are paid according to the work done during certain
period. Like hour, par day, weekly, monthly or any fixed period of time.
