HALF-ELVES
To simplify, just roll an elven name (infact many half-elves simply have elven names).
However, if you want a more complex/realistic name, roll above and note each element of the
name (firstname, surname, etc.) For each element roll any die with odds = a human element and
even = an elven element. Thus you could have an Elven firstname and a Human surname. If the
only element thats not consistent is used as an initial, assume you only use that name with that
race (for example, if your name were Carl G. (Galsimel) Morrison, assume that when youre
among elves you introduce yourself as Galsimel and among everyone else youre Carl).
ELVES
Some elven names are tough to pronounce. Feel free to do what some Asians do in
America: adopt a friendly local name (Yes, Im Abbie the elf because you wont be able to
pronounce my real name, which is Abimintheanna. Would you like to try my lastname?)
Exception: if your Dungeon Master allows you to play a Gray Elf, never make it easy for other
races by adopting one of their names; you took the time to learn their names, so they can at least
reciprocate. Be insulted or at least a little hurt when they stumble over your graceful name.
