Appeal for the Lifting of GRE Score Hold

This letter is to serve as an appeal and request for the removal of the GRE score hold from my
student account. I did not attain the required GRE score of 160 because there was little time to
prepare for the paper; however, I managed to score 150. Despite the above mentioned setback, I
have done really great work in my academic work. I had 3.5 GPA (Grade Point Average) out of
the total of 4, not only in this test but Im planning on finishing all my remaining classes with
such a high GPA. I already made contact with my graduate school on this very issue, and they
were very impressed with the academic progress. The graduate school removed the holds in
other students accounts, especially Ph.D. holders after taking into account their academic
progress in Computer Science and Engineering. I will really appreciate if you make it possible
for me to undergo the same fate.

Lifting this hold will not only limit, ease and reduce the scope of work I have to deal with like
publishing my paper but also place at my disposal a very precious resource- time to prepare and
study for the forthcoming GRE tests. Moreover, removing the hold from my account will help
me prepare for the qualified exam and enable me study for the course exams in enhancing my
academic progress.

I also have a research paper in which my supervisor and I came up with different methods of
spoofing attacks last semester. Resolving this issue in time will not only allow me learn more
about these techniques this semester but also avail me a chance to play a crucial role in
protecting more users from falling victims to GPS spoofing and present the research paper to the
professor sooner than later.

I will really appreciate a quick response and communication back on any developments on this
matter.
