development parts.
Create machining NC Code programs from engineering drawing data in Master Cam X7,
X8.
Optimizing production, formulating strategies for sequencing of manufacturing activities on
shop floor processes.
Maintaining qualitative improvements in productivity and minimizing the rate of rejection
and improving OEE.

Interfacing with production/QC team for maintaining a chain of tasks in the Manufacturing
Process of new Products/modifications of exiting Products and generating samples.
Assembly Tools selection and Work instructions based upon drawing requirements.
Carrying out trials, mapping changes and creating final modifications in components for
routine production
Assuring quality routine and non-routine issues by interacting with concerned
departments.
Tracking regular Root Cause Analysis, PFMEA, PPAP, and conducting troubleshooting for
New Product.

Interpreting customer drawing & developing 3D model of components for CNC

programming right
from the early stages of RFQ to manufacturing in Solid works.
Preparation of solid models, assembly & drafting of complex blade models, impeller,
inducer, propeller shaft and engine valves etc.
Preparation of cut-section views, stage-wise model preparation etc.
Expression based 3D modelling using UG NX4.0 & 7.5 which enables easier, yet quicker
3D model parameter updation as well as part family creation & updation.
Identifying & analyzing the criticality of the component based on machine capability and
sorting it out through various group discussions.
Process Planning / Stage Drawing preparation which involves 2D drafting of components
from 3D models emphasizing on GD&T and prove out of the process by FAI follow up from
manufacturing till customer acceptation of the same which enables the manufacturing team
to proceed with the production batch in Solid works, CATIA V5 Auto CAD Mechanical.
Preparation of FMEA and NPD plans & project scheduling.
Preparation of technical presentation which comprises process control plan, process flow
 chart & stage wise drawing etc.
Playing a key role in selection of cutting tools and special cutting tool and establishing new
cutting tools for Aerospace Materials.
Preparation of fixture design as per the process.

Perform technical analysis of manufacturing processes to support management decisions;

Design / direct the acquisition, design, fabrication and repair of all necessary tooling and
machines;
Troubleshoot day-to-day process issues, develops solutions, and monitors improvements;
Monitor all exchange and in-house requirements;
Procure material related to manufacturing improvements through external suppliers;
Perform quality checks on processes;
Analyze and deploys engineering change notices;
Establish and maintain bill of materials and work orders;
Respond to customer issues and lead process improvements; and
Provide day-to-day coaching duties in absence of team leader.
