PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Lyceum of the Philippines University UNESCO Club will be having again its
UNESCO Mind Challenge that would evaluate and assess the proficiency of the
International Relations students regarding UNESCO as an organization.
The organization believes that in order to foster excellent learning, education
should be introduced in creative and in non-traditional ways so as to engage and
cultivate the youth to knowing more about vital international organizations and its
works.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES
To put to the test the knowledge of IR students on UNESCO
To foster good relationships and strengthen the camaraderie of the students
within the College of International Relations
To hone the physical and mental abilities of the participants

Project Venue and Date:

Venue: Mini Theater

Date: March 15, 2015 (Wednesday)
1:00PM 5:00PM

Target Beneficiaries of the Program:

The participants will be composed of UNESCO members and non-members.

Expected Impacts:
The organization believes that to become an ambassador is not just about
reading books inside the four corners of the room, but instead, to be expose outside
and experience things a student will never learn in schools. The organization
endeavors to challenge International Relations students about their knowledge on
UNESCO in a fun yet educational manner. Unlike other quiz bees, LPU UNESCO not
only wants to challenge the mental abilities of the participants but it also wants to
test their physical abilities. As youth peace ambassadors, LPU UNESCO also wishes to
build or strengthen relationships among International Relations students and
promote good sportsmanship.
