Spring Steels

General Information

FNsteel supplies Wire Rod and Wire in Spring grades for the manufacture of a wide range of springs. AII of
our products meet current International Standards, but can also be tailored to our customers specifications.

Spring steel grades are medium to high carbon steels. Generally alloyed with Si, Cr, and / or V to achieve
high tensile strength properties. The steels are made with high cleanliness demands to meet good fatigue
requirements. Our wire rod is supplied with fine lamellar pearlite structure for optimum wire drawing.

Our wire rod and drawn wire can also be supplied with an annealed structure for enhanced formability.
