Dear Sir:

Greetings!

I am writing to your good office for a reconsideration of my request for an authority to

travel submitted last August 26, 2016. I was informed that the Division Office is asking
me to apply for a vacation leave without pay despite the fact that I will be representing
Maysan National High School (MNHS) and the City Schools Division of Valenzuela for
the 4TH International Conference on Education for Sustainable Development which will be
held in the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization-Regional Centre for
Education in Science and Mathematics (SEAMEO-RECSAM), Penang, Malaysia.

The inclusive days for my travel would be from October 23-30, 2016 that includes five
working days during the semestral break of the school year 2016-2017 which means that
no disruption of classes would occur. I am fully aware that I will be responsible for all the
travel and registration expenses and I am just humbly requesting for an authorized leave
on an official time.

My action research entitled: Improving students understanding on structures and

functions of Organic compounds using Game-Based Learning was conducted at MNHS
during the school year 2014-2015. The said event would not only develop and enhance
my professional skills but it can also help in the improvement of teaching pedagogies in
the field of science. Moreover, the said conference would also be a great avenue to
showcase in the international community that MNHS and the City School Division of
Valenzuela are globally competitive and supportive in terms of educational research.

Attached with this letter are invitation letters from the event organizer and the DepEd
advisory. Thank you in anticipation for your favorable response, continuous support and
desire for a responsive education. God bless!

Sincerely yours,

Renier G. Celiz Jr.
