Task Procedures:

1. Refresh previous lesson on phrases ; go straight on, turn right, turn left.
Ask the pupils:
What have we learnt yesterday?
Teacher shows the gestures of turning left, turning right and go straight on and let the
pupils to guess. Then, refresh the phrases.
 2. Take pupils to the map. Get them to stand around the map.
3. Ask volunteers to demonstrate go along/straight on by using the road on the map.
4. Repeat step 3 for other phrases.
i.e turn right, turn left, _______at the junction ___, at the crossroad, ____at the end of
the path, walk through
5. Demonstrate the game;
a) Get volunteer to pick 1 envelope and to take out the instruction card.
b) Ask the volunteer to read and do the actions on the map. (The other pupils to
keep quiet and wait until the volunteer finish his/her action according to the
instruction read.
c) When the volunteer reach the destination,ask him or her to read the instruction
again.
d) The pupil will call up the next pupil to pick envelope and do actions.
6. Repeat step 5 for several times.

Managing errors and mistakes:

1. If pupil goes into wrong path, teacher says Oops repeatedly until the pupil notice
that he/she is not on the right path.
2. Do not tell what to do but get the pupil to refer the instruction card.
3. Teacher may use gestures to help the pupil.
4. Other pupils may also help by saying Oops.

Reward and Feedback

Give star shape card to the pupils who manage to reach the destination correctly.

*Pupil who collected star shape cards the most will be given a present at the end of the
month.

an arch. At the crossroad, turn right. You will pass a
fountain on your left. Go straight on. You will reach
a junction. Turn left and Jupiter Garden is on your
right. You will be able to see Mars Garden at the
end of the path.

an arch. At the crossroad, turns left and go straight
on. You will be able to see sun dial at the end of the
path.

From the Planetarium, go straight on. Walk through

an arch. At the crossroad, go straight on. You will be
able to see Earth Garden at the end of the path.

From the Planetarium, go straight on. Walk through

an arch. At the junction, turn right. You will pass a
fountain on your left. Go straight on. You will reach
a junction. Turn right and go straight on. You will be
able to see Saturn Garden at the end of the path.

From the Planetarium, go straight on. Walk through

an arch. At the crossroad, turn left. You will pass
Uranus Garden on your left and rose bushes on your
right. Go straight on. At the junction, left and go
straight on. You will be able to see Saturn Garden at
the end of the path.
