After all the trials and hardships that the

researcher had encountered in the past months, she has
finally reached the finish line. The intensive learning
of the researcher made her experience so much
memorable. The researcher would like to express her
deepest gratitude to all people who lend a helping hand
during her journey.

Foremost, the researcher would like to thank her

thesis adviser Ar. Rowena S. Jardin for her constant
guidance, support, and encouragement during the making
of this thesis. Without her supervision and input of
knowledge, the researcher would have never been able to
complete her proposal. Also, the researcher would like
to thank Ar. Creselda M. Roldan for her constant
guidance during the making of this thesis. The
researcher would like to extend her gratitude to Ar.
Fatima Taisha Y. Nasaron Ar. Gilbert Yu Apolona, and
Ar. Elbert Napa who enlightened the mind of the
researcher during her early stages in her study. The
researcher would also like to thank her thesis juries,
Ar. Jiomey L. Aonuevo, Ar. May R. Javier-Ilagan, Ar.
Marlo C. Artificio for their intuitive comments,
suggestions, and challenging questions.

The researcher would also like to show his

gratitude to Shahani M. Dirampatan-Sarip of National
Commission on Muslim Filipinos for sharing her
knowledge about Muslims in Mindoro, and Imam Ishmael
Denis Hong of Mindoro Islamic Research Center Inc. for
sharing his knowledge about Muslims in Mindoro and
allowing the researcher to visit their existing and
proposed Muslim community compound from time to time.

Recognition is also extended to the Municipal

Planning Development Office for diligently assisting
him during his inquiry of information to be used for
his proposal.

The researcher is also thankful for the support of

her friends, Ryan Macalinao, Lady Cecille Asi, Melvee
Rence Hatulan, Vanessa Artiola, Don Calderon, and Ivan
Baculo, who assisted her in her needs in terms of man
power.

The researcher would also like to extended her

gratitude to all architects, engineers, and other
mentors who help her knowledge and skills to grow since
the beginning of her education.

Endless gratitude to the researchers family, to

his father Nicasio A. Magmanlac Jr. for his never
ending support and encouragement for the researcher in
pursuing her dreams, to her special love one Anton
Montero who inspires her to continue working on her
proposal despite of all hardships and sleepless nights.
 Above all, the researcher would like to thank our
almighty GOD who gave her strength and endurance during
the times of distress, proper knowledge and wisdom to
overcome the challenging query of the juries.
