Basic coated electrode 5 CM 900

For creep resisting steels

Classification AWS A5.5 : E 8018-B2 EN 1599 : ECr Mo 1 B 42

ISO 3580 : E1 Cr Mo B 20

Description and Low hydrogen basic coated electrode with Cr and Mo for welding creep resisting steels
applications (1% Cr - 0.5% Mo). Resistant to high temperature up to 500-550C. For piping systems, boilers,
overheaters. Soft fusion, good slag removal. Nice aspect of the weld bead.
Main applications : petrochemistry, chemical industry.
