Describe the instructional activities that will occur PRIOR to the SRT activity and how you will introduce
the SRT activity.
Before the SRT activity, I will review addition and subtraction facts. I will also review how to navigate Quizlet
so the students know how to utilize the tool to its potential.

Student Response and Assessment Tools
Briefly describe what will happen DURING the SRT activity:
In this activity, the students will have individual iPads where they will have access to the Quizlet set I created
for adding and subtracting within 5. They will be instructed to first review the flashcard set and then they will
have the opportunity to play the different games available to them through Quizlet. I will be exercising
proximity to ensure that everyone is on task and that each student is gaining a mastery of the content. This
activity will last about 20-30 minutes. During these 2030 minutes, I will require that each student complete
the Test activity at least once. I will record their scores from the Test activity and use this data to assess
mastery of content.
Type of questions/prompts used in this activity (check all that apply):
Multiple choice Multiple select True/False Yes/No
Short open-ended response or fill-in the blank Longer open-ended response

If you are unable to provide a working sample of your questions, please list them below (8-10):

Right/Wrong answers: Will there be right/wrong answers to these questions?
Yes No
Mixed (Some will have correct answers, other will not.)

Immediate corrective feedback: Will you pre-select correct answers to some of all of the questions and
display correct response to the class after the SRT activity?
Yes
No
Why or why not?
I will not provide immediate answers because I will go over the Quizlet set after the lesson with the class.
Describe what will happen AFTER the SRT activity?
After the SRT activity, we will discuss the content as a class and I will assess what content the students gained
from completing the Quizlet.
How will the data be used?
I will use the data from the students Test activity to assess mastery of the content. I will use this data to
construct the next lesson because it will help show me what needs to be focused on the most. I will also use
this data to differentiate the material for the students who are struggling with the concept.
Describe your personal learning goal for this activity.
I have not tried a lesson on Quizlet before, so I am hoping that the students are able to navigate the tool. I
hope that the students are able to use this site to its fullest potential and gain the most information possible. I
decided to use Quizlet in hope it would help them learn by letting them be in more control of the pace at
which they went over the material
(Optional) Other comments about your SRT activity:
I enjoyed exploring what Quizlet had to offer towards my lesson. I was able to introduce my students to a new
form of technology that will also help them in the future.
