4. FIRST AID MEASURES

General advice : Take off all contaminated clothing immediately.


Inhalation : Move to fresh air.
Skin contact : Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water. If skin
irritation persists, call a physician.
Eye contact : Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water, also under the eyelids. If
symptoms persist, call a physician.
Ingestion : Rinse mouth. Consult a physician if necessary.

5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES

Suitable extinguishing : In case of fire, use foam, powder, carbon dioxide or water
media spray. Do not use water jet.
Specific hazards during fire : Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local
fighting circumstances and the surrounding environment.
Special protective : In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

Personal precautions : Use personal protective equipment. Provide adequate


ventilation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not breathe
gas/fumes/vapour/spray.
Environmental precautions : Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. Avoid
subsoil penetration.
Methods for cleaning up : Absorb with liquid-binding material (sand, diatomite, acid
binders, universal binders). Treat recovered material as
described in the section "Disposal considerations". After
cleaning, flush away traces with water.

Advice on safe handling : Keep container tightly closed. No dangerous reaction known
under conditions of normal use.

13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS

Product : Disposal together with normal waste is not allowed. The


product should not be allowed to enter drains, water courses or
the soil. Can be disposed of as a solid waste or burned in a
suitable installation subject to local regulations.

Packaging : Empty contaminated packagings thoroughly. They can be


recycled after thorough and proper cleaning. Packagings that
cannot be cleaned are to be disposed of in the same manner
as the product.

European Waste : Waste codes should be assigned by the user based on the
Catalogue Number application for which the product was used.
