based on DIN VDE 0888 and DIN VDE 0818
metallic armouring
ASLH-DBB
ASLH-D9YBB

APPLICATION
The cable can be strung from the poles of high-voltage open-
wire lines as a self-supporting aerial cable and also provide the
function of a ground wire.

DESCRIPTION
Optical fibers preferably of series E9/125 in tubular central
multifiber unit.
Fiber buffer made of plastic providing high temperature resistance
and insulation to thermal stress (short to ground or lightning stroke).
Multifiber unit filled with an easily deformable compound.
Serving made of high-tensile plastic yarns, sheath made of
polypropylene (ASLH-D9YBB only).
Low torsion due to contrahelically applied armouring layers of
preferably alumo-clad and aldrey roud metal wires.

INSTALLATION
The cables are secured at terminating points with protective and
terminating helixes. At the suspension points standard suspension
helixes are used.

SPECIAL FEATURES
Very low transmission loss, very low dispersion, no crosstalk, no
radiated emission, transmission not impaired by external
interference fields, self-supporting, conductive armouring with
large cross-section can be structured and dimensioned like a
ground wire, high current carrying capacity high degree of
lightning protection and also no increase in fiber attenuation even
with severe tensile load on cable.

APPLICATION
The cable can be strung from the poles of high-voltage open-
wire lines as a self-supporting aerial cable.

DESCRIPTION
Optical fibers, preferably of series G50/125 or E10/125 in a tubular
central multifiber unit, plastic fiber buffer, multifiber unit filled with
a flexible compound.
Concentric supporting member made of tension-proof plastic
yarns.
Plastic sheath.

INSTALLATION
The cables are secured at terminating points with protective and
terminating helixes. At the suspension points standard suspension
helixes are used.

SPECIAL FEATURES
Low transmission loss, large bandwidth, no crosstalk, no radiation
along the cable and also transmission not impaired by external
interference fields.
