Fluid Power Assignment

A pressurized tank supplies water at 25oC and 150 L/min to an open tank through 200m of 1 copper
tubing as shown. The height between water levels is 12m. A pump with efficiency 80% is situated between
both tanks and requires 0.96 kW of power. There is also a opened gate valve just after the pump.
Assuming the entrance to the pipe is square edged and that all elbows are standard, calculate the pressure
at the top of the tank, p1.
