I chose the four selfies with Nicole, Sara, Gabriel, and Merary because out of the three weeks
weve had of summer school, Im closest to them.

The pictures with the motorcycles and toys was December 10th, when my schools student
council and I hosted a Christmas toy drive for the people in our community.

The picture on the left bottom corner include Christina Garcia (best friend), PJ Ochoa (close
friend), and myself. (from left to right).

The East Los Angeles picture is the front of the building I go to every Tuesday evening for a
program called the Explorers Program that helps me better serve my community.

I added a picture of Kate Warne and UCLA because she was the first every woman Private
Investigator and thats the career I want to pursue after graduating from UCLA.

1. My role model from my community would have to be Deputy Cain from Post Station
1097 East Los Angeles because she didnt let anyone get in her way of becoming what
she wanted to be.
2. I have learned that it doesnt matter if Im a female, anything can be done if I really want
to accomplish it.
3. My friends in my community include Christina Garcia, Emilio Ceja, Alexa Navarro, Pedro
Ochoa, and Samantha Lopez.
4. They positively influence me by always having an open heart, theyre constantly on me
about school and keeping my grades up, and they always make me happy. They
negatively influence me by sometimes rubbing off a bad mood on me.
5. One issue going on in the greater Los Angeles Area is the higher percentage of
homeless people.
6. One issue in my community is how there are a lot of people who do not think while
theyre driving and it causes a lot of traffic.
7. I am in a program called the Explorers Program and it teaches me how to treat others
with the respect they deserve, even if they dont give it to you, and how to serve the
community.
8. I can be a good role model to my community by doing good in school and being a leader
for them to see and look up to.
9. I would possibly become more of a leader and more independent.
10. PMA fits in my plans for growth because I know this school is going to teach me a lot
about service and a lot of new ways I can help out my community.
11. I can help PMA grow as a leader by teaching others how to be leaders and spread
positivity.
