RADIOLOGY

Radiology is the medical specialty, as well as a course that we do not carry in the
career, which deals with the generation of images of the interior of the body in
different physical agents (X-rays, ultrasound, magnetic fields, among others) and to
use these Images for diagnosis and, to a lesser extent, for the prognosis and
treatment of diseases.
La radiologa es la especialidad mdica,asi como un curso que no llevamos en la
carrera, que se ocupa de la generacin de imgenes del interior del cuerpo en
diferentes agentes fsicos (rayos X, ultrasonidos, campos magnticos, entre otros)
y de utilizar estas imgenes para el diagnstico y, en menor medida, para el
Pronstico y el tratamiento de las enfermedades.

Due to the continuous improvement of the X-ray equipment to the appearance of

other imaging modalities and biomedical material, radiology tends to become the
fundamental pillar of the diagnosis and in some cases of treatment.
Debido al continuo mejoramiento de los equipos de Rayos X a la aparicin de
otras modalidades de imagen y material biomdico, la radiologa tiende a
convertirse en el pilar fundamental del diagnstico y en algunos casos de
tratamiento.

It is anticipated that in the not too distant future, the patient will enter a booth for a
few minutes, where a highly computerized machine will obtain all the information of
the internal morphology of its organs, as well as biochemical analysis information.
Se prevee que en un futuro no muy lejano, el paciente ingresar en una cabina
durante pocos minutos, donde una mquina altamente computarizada, obtendr
toda la informacin de la morfologa interna de sus rganos, as como tambin
informacin de anlisis bioqumicos.

This course will last about 6 months, so that the student is better prepared to read
the radiological images.
Este curso durar alrededor de 6 meses, asi se logra que el estudiante este mejor
preparado ante la lectura de las imagenes radiologicas.
