Happy 44th Independence Bahamas!! In honour of this birthday, attached are photos of
our recent Independence installation in the US Departure Lounge at the Lynden Pindling
International Airport! Many thanks to artisans Kimberly Roberts of Abaco, Claudette
Dean of Freeport, Audrey Marie Deveaux, Beverly J. Taylor, Dandria Miller, Margaret
Finlayson, and Kevin Knowles for their truly 'true-true' products!! We have so much to be
proud of - let's celebrate our people, our talents, and our achievements - together!!

The UNESCO Creative Cities Network Annual Conference was held in Enghiens-les-Bains, France this year and unfortunately the City of
Nassau did not have a representative attend this year, but we were happy to thank and congratulate Rosemary Hanna, Guilden Gilbert,
Derek Smith, LPIA,/NAD and Paulette Mortimer for providing the striking photographs used in the Crafts & Folk Arts Cluster publication
on the City of Nassau page, as well as Patricia Glinton-Meicholas for the text! Below is the first of the two pages of the publication!
