Hold electric tools by their insulated han-
dles whenever they could possibly touch a
hidden wire or their own cords.
Touching a live wire can transfer the voltage
to the exposed metal parts of the tool and give
the operator an electric shock.
Use appropriate detectors to determine if
utility lines are hidden in the work area or
call the local utility company for assis-
tance.
Contact with electric lines can lead to fire and
electric shock. Damaging a gas line can lead
to explosion. Penetrating a water line causes
property damage or may cause an electric
shock.
A blocking of the drill will lead to a jerking reac-
tion of the tool. In this case, turn off the ma-
chine immediately.
Secure the workpiece. Clamping devices or a
vise will hold the workpiece in place better than
the hand.
Be careful when screwing in long screws, as
they can slide off.
Place the machine on the screw /nut only when
switched off.
Always switch the machine off and wait until it
has come to a standstill before placing it down.
Never allow children to use the machine.
Bosch can only guarantee a flawless function-
ing of the machine if the original accessories
intended for it are used.
Intended Use
The machine is intended for impact drilling in
brick, concrete and stone as well as for drilling in
wood, metal, ceramics and plastic. Machines with
electronic control and right/left rotation are also
suitable for screwing and thread cutting.
Inserting the Tool
Open the drill chuck 1 by turning until the tool can
be inserted. Insert the tool.
Keyless Chuck
(GSB 450 R see figure A )
Hold the rear sleeve tight and firmly tighten the
front sleeve by hand, until the locking ac-
tion (click) is no longer heard. The drill chuck is
locked automatically.
The locking is released again when the front col-
lar is turned in the opposite direction to remove
the tool.

Key Chuck
Using the chuck key 8, tighten all three drillings
uniformly.
Caution with hot chuck:
During longer work processes, especially
when working with the impact drill, the chuck
can strongly heat up. In this case we recom-
mend the wearing of protective gloves.
Screwdriver Tools (Accessories)
When using screwdriver bits, a bit holder should
always be used. Use only the screwdriver bits
that fit the screw head.
For driving screws, position the selector switch 3
to the symbol Drilling and Driving.
Initial Operation
Always use the correct voltage: The voltage of
the power source must agree with the values on
the nameplate of the machine.
Switching On and Off
To start the unit, press the On/Off switch 5.
GSB 400 RE/GSB 450 R: The ma-
chine runs with variable speed be-
tween 0 and maximum depending
on the pressure applied to the On/
Off switch 5. Light pressure results
in a low rotational speed, thus al-
lowing smooth, controlled starts. Do
not load the machine so heavily that
it comes to a standstill.
Lock the pressed On/Off switch 5 by pressing
the lock-on button 4.
To switch the unit off, release the On/Off
switch 5 or press and then release it.
Two-step switch (GSB 400-2)
Two rotational speed ranges can be selected with
On/Off switch 5. The machine switches from the
first to the second rotational speed step after a
perceptible pressure point has been exceeded:
Rotational speed step I: 2 200 rpm
Rotational speed step II: 2 800 rpm
The On/Off switch can be locked in either of the
rotational speed steps by means of locking but-
ton 4.

Changing the Rotational Direction
(GSB 400 RE/GSB 450 R)
Operate the rotational direction
switch 6 only at a standstill.
Set the rotational direction selector 6 to R (right
or clockwise) or L (left or counter clockwise).
(The rotational direction selector 6 is locked
when the On/Off switch 5 is activated).
The left-hand rotation enables screws or nuts to
be unscrewed.
Drilling and Impact Drilling
Drilling and Screwing In
Set the selector switch 3 to the Drilling
and Screwing symbol.
Impact Drilling
Set the selector switch 3 to the Ham-
mer drilling symbol.
The selector switch 3 engages noticeably and
can be actuated with the machine running.
Replacing the Chuck
Before any work on the machine itself, pull
the power plug.
Key Chuck (see figure B )
To unscrew the key type drill chuck 7, place
open-end wrench to the wrench area.
Place the chuck key in one of the 3 bores and
loosen the chuck by turning it to the left using the
key as a lever. If the key chuck is frozen in place,
a tap on the chuck key should loosen it.
Keyless Chuck (see figure C )
The locking screw 9 secures the drill chuck
against loosening from the drill spindle. Fully
open the drill chuck and completely unscrew the
locking screw 9 by turning it clockwise.
If the keyless chuck is too tight to unscrew, clamp
the Allen key, with the short shaft first, in the key-
less chuck 1. Loosen the chuck by giving the
Allen key a slight knock on the long shaft, and un-
screw.
Tips
For drilling in tiles, set the selector switch 3 to the
symbol Drilling and Screwdriving. Do not switch
over to the symbol Impact Drilling or work with
impact until after drilling through the tile.
Hard metal drills are needed for working with con-
crete, rock and brickwork.

Sharpening Drill Bits
When drilling metals, use only flawlessly sharp-
ened HSS (super-speed steel) drills. The appro-
priate quality is guaranteed by the Bosch acces-
sories program.
Twist drills from 3.5 10 mm can easily be sharp-
ened with the drill sharpener (see accessories).
Bench Stand
We recommend the use of a bench stand (see
accessories) especially when work demanding
more precision is required.
Machine Vise
The machine vise (available as an accessory) fa-
cilitates a safe tightening of workpieces, prevent-
ing their twisting and any accidents this would
cause.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Before any work on the machine itself, pull
the power plug.
For safe and proper working, always keep the
machine and the ventilation slots clean.
Should the machine fail in spite of careful manu-
facturing and testing, its repair should be carried
out by a Bosch power tools authorized service
agent.
For all correspondence and spare parts orders,
always include the 10-digit part number of the
machine!
Environmental Protection
Recycle raw materials instead of
disposing them as waste
The machine, its accessories and
packaging materials should be
sorted for environmentally-friendly
recycling.
These instructions are printed on chlorine-free re-
cycled paper.
The plastic components are labeled for catego-
rized recycling.
Noise/Vibration Information
Measured values determined according to
EN 60 745.
The A-weighted noise levels of the tool are typically:
sound pressure level: 93 dB (A); sound power
level: 104 dB (A). Measuring inaccuracy K = 3 dB.
Wear ear protection!
The weighted acceleration is typically 8 m/s2.

Jika selama mempergunakan mesin kabel
rusak atau terpotong, janganlah menyentuh
kabel, melainkan tariklah steker dari
stopkontak. Jangan sekali-kali memakai
mesin jika kabelnya rusak.

Mesin-mesin yang digunakan di luar gedung
harus disambungkan pada sakelar pelindung
terhadap arus penyimpangan (FI) dengan
kepekaan maksimal 30 mA. Janganlah
menggunakan mesin ini jika hujan atau di
tempat yang basah.
Kabel harus selalu di belakang mesin dan
menjauh dari mesin.
Peganglah mesin listrik hanya pada
pegangan yang terisolir, jika mesin listrik
mungkin terkena akan sambungan yang
tidak terlihat atau kabelnya sendiri.
Sentuhan pada kabel yang bertegangan dapat
mengakibatkan benda-benda dari logam juga
bertegangan dan lalu mengakibatkan kontak
listrik.
Gunakanlah detektor logam yang cocok
untuk mencari saluran-saluran pengadaan
yang tidak terlihat, atau tanyakan kepada
perusahaan pengadaan setempat.
Persentuhan dengan saluran listrik dapat
mengakibatkan api dan kontak listrik.
Kerusakan pada saluran gas dapat
mengakibatkan ledakan. Perkakas yang
masuk ke dalam saluran air dapat
mengakibatkan barang rusak atau kontak
listrik.
Mata bor yang memblok mengakibatkan
gerakan sentakan yang bisa membahayakan.
Jika ini terjadi, matikanlah segara mesin.
Usahakan supaya benda yang dikerjakan
tidak goyang. Benda yang dikerjakan yang
ditahan dalam alat pemegang atau bais lebih
mantap daripada benda yang dipegang
dengan tangan.
Hati-hatilah jika menyekrup sekrup yang
panjang, bisa meleset.
Mesin hanya boleh dipasangkan pada mur /
baut jika mesin dalam keadaan mati.
Sebelum meletakkan mesin, matikan dahulu
mesin dan tunggulah hingga mesin berhenti
memutar.
Janganlah sekali-kali mengizinkan anak-anak
menggunakan mesin ini.
Bosch dapat menjamin bahwa mesin berjalan
dengan mulus, jika untuk mesin ini hanya
dipergunakan aksesori asli dari Bosch yang
khusus untuk mesin ini.

Penggunaan mesin
Mesin ini cocok untuk membor pakai getaran
pada batu bata, beton dan batu-batuan serta
untuk membor pada kayu, logam, bahan keramik
dan bahan sintetis. Mesin-mesin dengan
pengendalian secara elektronika dan arah
putaran ke kanan/kiri juga cocok untuk
menyekrup dan mentap.
Memasang alat kerja
Cekaman mata bor 1 dibuka dengan cara
memutarnya sampai alat kerja bisa dimasukkan.

Cekaman mata bor yang dikunci
dan dibuka dengan tangan
(GSB 450 R lihat gambar A )
Selubung bagian belakang ditahan dan selubung
bagian depan diputar keras-keras supaya
tertutup, sampai tidak terdengar lagi bunyi
ceklek (click). Cekaman mata bor terkunci
secara otomatis.
Penguncian ini terbuka lagi, jika untuk
melepaskan alat kerja, selubung bagian depan
diputarkan dalam arah yang berlawanan.
Cekaman mata bor pakai kunci bergigi
Cekaman mata bor ini dimantapkan dengan
memakai kunci 8 secara rata dalam ketiga
lubang.
Hati-hatilah jika cekaman mata bor panas:
Jika mesin dipergunakan untuk waktu yang
lama, terutama untuk pekerjaan membor
pakai getaran, maka cekaman mata bor dapat
menjadi sangat panas. Dalam hal demikian
kami anjurkan supaya Anda memakai sarung
tangan pelindung.
Perkakas-perkakas untuk menyekrup
(Aksesori)
Jika dipergunakan mata obeng (bits),
pergunakanlah selalu pemegang bit.
Pergunakanah hanya mata obeng yang cocok
dengan kepala sekrup.
Untuk pekerjaan menyekrup, omsakelar
disetelkan pada simbol membor dan
menyekrup.

Cara penggunaan
Perhatikanlah tegangan jaringan listrik:
Tegangan dan frekwensi jaringan listrik harus
sesuai dengan tegangan dan frekwensi yang
tercantum pada label tipe mesin.
Cara menghidupkan-mematikan mesin
Untuk menggunakan mesin, tekankan tombol
untuk menghidupkan dan mematikan mesin 5.
GSB 400 RE/GSB 450 R: Mesin
berputar dengan kecepatan
putaran yang berubah-ubah antara
0 dan maksimum, tergantung dari
tekanan pada tombol untuk
menghidupkan dan mematikan
mesin 5. Tekanan yang ringan mengakibatkan
kecepatan putaran yang rendah dan dengan
demikian pemboran bisa dimulai perlahan-lahan
dan terkendali. Janganlah membebankan mesin
terlalu berat sehingga mesin berhenti.
Untuk mengunci, tombol untuk menghidupkan
dan mematikan mesin 5 dalam keadaan tertekan
dikunci dengan knop pengunci 4.
Untuk mematikan mesin, tombol untuk
menghidupkan dan mematikan mesin 5
dilepaskan atau ditekan dan dilepaskan.
Putaran dua tingkatan (GSB 400-2)
Dengan tombol untuk menghidupkan dan
mematikan mesin 5, bisa disetelkan dua
tingkatan kecepatan putaran sebelumnya.
Setelah melewati batas tingkatan yang terasa
pada sakelar, maka mesin berubah dari tingkatan
kecepatan putaran pertama ke tingkatan
kecepatan putaran kedua:
Tingkatan kecepatan putaran I: 2 200 per menit
Tingkatan kecepatan putaran II: 2 800 per menit
Tombol untuk menghidupkan dan mematikan
mesin bisa dikuncikan pada kedua tingkatan
kecepatan putaran dengan knop pengunci 4.
Mengubah arah putaran
(GSB 400 RE/GSB 450 R)
Omsakelar pengubah arah putaran 6
hanya boleh diputar jika mesin dalam
keadaan mati.
Omsakelar pengubah arah putaran 6 disetelkan
pada arah putaran ke kanan (R) atau ke kiri (L).
(Selama tombol untuk menghidupkan dan
mematikan mesin 5 ditekan, omsakelar
pengubah arah putaran 6 terkunci.)
Dengan arah putaran ke kiri misalnya dapat
dilepaskan baut atau mur.

Sebelum memulai semua pekerjaan pada
mesin, tariklah steker dari stopkontak.
Cekaman mata bor pakai kunci bergigi
(lihat gambar B )
Untuk melepaskan cekaman mata bor pakai
kunci bergigi 7, kunci pas dipasangkan pada pipi
untuk kunci pas.
Kunci cekaman mata bor dimasukkan ke dalam
salah satu dari 3 lubang dan dengan tuas ini
cekaman mata bor dilepaskan dengan cara
memutarnya ke kiri seperti melepaskan baut.
Cekaman mata bor dengan kunci bergigi yang
terlalu kencang duduknya, dilepaskan dengan
cara memukul ringan kunci cekaman mata bor.
Cekaman mata bor yang dikunci
dan dibuka dengan tangan
(lihat gambar C )
Supaya cekaman mata bor tidak terlepas dari
poros mesin, cekaman mata bor dimantapkan
dengan sekrup pengaman 9. Cekaman mata bor
dibuka sama sekali dan sekrup pengaman 9
diulir keluar sama sekali dengan cara memutar
dalam arah jalannya jarum jam.
Cekaman mata bor yang dikunci dan dibuka
dengan tangan yang terlalu ketat duduknya,
dibuka dengan cara memasukkan gagang yang
pendek dari kunci mur dalam ke dalam cekaman
mata bor yang dikunci dan dibuka dengan
tangan 1. Dengan cara memberi pukulan yang
ringan pada gagang panjang dari kunci mur
dalam, cekaman mata bor dilepaskan dan
diputarkan.

Brancher les appareils qui sont utiliss lex-
trieur sur un disjoncteur diffrentiel avec un
courant de dclenchement maximal de 30 mA.
Ne pas utiliser lappareil par temps de pluie ni
dans un endroit humide.
Toujours diriger les cbles vers larrire de
lappareil.
Ne tenir loutil lectrique que par les poi-
gnes isoles lorsquil y a risque que loutil
lectrique touche une conduite cache ou
son propre cble dalimentation.
Le contact avec une conduite sous tension
peut mettre les parties mtalliques de lappa-
reil sous tension et provoquer ainsi une d-
charge lectrique.
Utiliser des dtecteurs appropris afin de
dceler des conduites caches ou consul-
ter les entreprises de distribution locales.
Un contact avec des conduites dlectricit
peut provoquer un incendie ou une dcharge
lectrique. Lendommagement dune conduite
de gaz peut provoquer une explosion. La per-
foration dune conduite deau provoque des
dgts matriels et peut provoquer une d-
charge lectrique.
Le blocage de loutil de perage provoque de
fortes ractions au niveau de lappareil. Dans
ce cas-l, arrter immdiatement lappareil.
Bloquer la pice travailler. Une pice tra-
vailler serre par des dispositifs de serrage ou
dans un tau est fixe de manire plus sre
que tenue dans les mains.
Attention lors de la pose des vis longues : elles
peuvent glisser.
Ne poser lappareil sur un crou ou une vis que
lorsquil est larrt.
Avant de dposer lappareil, toujours le mettre
hors fonctionnement et attendre larrt total de
lappareil.
Ne jamais permettre aux enfants dutiliser cet
appareil.
Bosch ne peut garantir un fonctionnement im-
peccable que si les accessoires Bosch dori-
gine prvus pour cet appareil sont utiliss.

Restrictions dutilisation
Lappareil est conu pour les travaux de perage
percussion dans la brique, le bton et dans la
pierre naturelle ainsi que pour le perage dans le
bois, le mtal, la cramique et les matires plas-
tiques. Les appareils avec rglage lectronique
et rotation droite/ gauche sont galement ap-
propris pour le vissage et le filetage.
Mise en place de loutil
Ouvrir le mandrin de perage 1 par un mouve-
ment de rotation jusqu ce que loutil puisse tre
mont. Monter loutil.
Mandrin de perage serrage rapide
(GSB 450 R voir figure A )
Tenir la douille arrire et bien visser la douille
avant en la tournant fortement la main jusqu
ce quil ny ait plus de dclic perceptible. Le man-
drin de perage se trouve alors verrouill auto-
matiquement.
Le verrouillage peut tre desserr lorsquon
tourne la douille avant en sens inverse pour enle-
ver loutil.
Mandrin couronne dente
A laide de la cl de mandrin 8, serrer de manire
rgulire dans les trois alsages.
Attention quand le mandrin de perage est
chaud :
En cas de travaux assez longs, notamment
lors des travaux de perage percussion, le
mandrin de perage risque de chauffer forte-
ment. Dans ce cas-l, il est recommand de
porter des gants de protection.
Embouts de vissage (Accessoires)
Pour travailler avec des embouts de vissage, uti-
liser toujours un porte-embout. Utiliser toujours
un embout de vissage dont lempreinte est adap-
te la tte de la vis serrer.
Pour effectuer des travaux de vissage, mettre le
commutateur 3 sur le symbole Perage et vis-
sage .

Mise en service
Tenir compte de la tension du secteur : La ten-
sion de la source de courant doit correspondre aux
indications figurant sur la plaque signaltique de
lappareil. Les appareils marqus 230 V peuvent
galement tre utiliss tre utiliss sous 220 V.
Mise en fonctionnement /Arrt
Afin de mettre lappareil en fonctionnement,
appuyer sur linterrupteur Marche/Arrt 5.
GSB 400 RE/GSB 450 R : En fonc-
tion de la pression exerce sur lin-
terrupteur Marche/Arrt 5, lappareil
fonctionne une vitesse comprise
entre 0 et le maximum. Une lgre
pression fait tourner lappareil pe-
tite vitesse, ce qui permet un dmar-
rage prcis et en douceur. Ne pas
trop solliciter lappareil qui risque si-
non de sarrter.
Afin de le bloquer, appuyer sur linterrupteur
Marche/Arrt 5 et le bloquer dans cette position
laide du bouton de verrouillage 4.
Afin darrter lappareil, relcher linterrupteur
Marche/Arrt 5 ou appuyer sur linterrupteur et le
relcher.
Commutation deux vitesses
(GSB 400-2)
A laide de linterrupteur Marche/Arrt 5, il est
possible de prslectionner deux plages de vi-
tesse de rotation diffrentes. Une fois le point de
pression perceptible dpass, lappareil com-
mute de la premire vitesse la deuxime vi-
tesse :
Vitesse de rotation I : 2 200 tr/min
Vitesse de rotation II : 2 800 tr/min
Linterrupteur Marche/Arrt peut tre bloqu
dans les deux plages de vitesse de rotation
laide du bouton de verrouillage 4.
Inversion du sens de rotation
(GSB 400 RE/GSB 450 R)
Nactionner le commutateur du sens de
rotation 6 qu larrt total de lappareil.
Mettre le commutateur du sens de rotation 6 en
position R (rotation droite) ou en position L (ro-
tation gauche). (Lorsquon appuie sur linterrup-
teur Marche/Arrt 5, le commutateur du sens de
rotation 6 se trouve verrouill.)
La rotation vers la gauche permet par exemple le
desserrage dcrous ou de vis.

que lappareil est en marche.
Changement du mandrin
Avant toute intervention sur lappareil, tou-
jours retirer la fiche du cble dalimenta-
tion de la prise de courant.
Mandrin couronne dente
(voir figure B )
Pour dvisser le mandrin couronne dente 7,
positionner une cl fourche sur la surface de
cl.
Introduire la cl de mandrin, faisant office de le-
vier, dans lun des trois orifices du mandrin et
desserrer celui-ci comme une vis, par une rota-
tion gauche. Si le mandrin est bloqu, il est pos-
sible de le desserrer en donnant un lger coup
sur la cl de mandrin.
Mandrin de perage serrage rapide
(voir figure C )
Le mandrin de perage est fix laide de la vis
de blocage 9 qui lempche de se dtacher de la
broche de perage. Ouvrir compltement le man-
drin de perage et dvisser compltement la vis
de blocage 9 par un mouvement de rotation dans
le sens des aiguilles dune montre.
Au cas o le mandrin de perage serrage ra-
pide serait coinc, serrer le bout court dune cl
mle coude pour vis six pans creux dans le
mandrin de perage serrage rapide 1. Donner
un lger coup sur le bout long de la cl mle cou-
de pour vis six pans creux afin de desserrer et
de dvisser le mandrin de perage.

Indications gnrales de scurit
ATTENTION ! Lire toutes les indications. Le non-res-
pect des instructions indiques ci-aprs peut entraner
un choc lectrique, un incendie etdou de graves blessu-
res sur les personnes. La notion d outil lectroporta-
tif mentionne par la suite se rapporte des outils
lectriques raccords au secteur (avec cble de raccor-
dement) et des outils lectriques batterie (sans c-
ble de raccordement).
GARDER PRECIEUSEMENT CES INSTRUCTIONS
DE SECURITE.
1) Lieu de travail
a) Maintenez lieu de travail propre et bien clair.
Un lieu de travail en dsordre ou mal clair aug-
mente le risque daccidents.
b) Nutilisez pas lappareil dans un environnement
prsentant des risques dexplosion et o se
trouvent des liquides, des gaz ou poussires in-
flammables. Les outils lectroportatifs gnrent
des tincelles risquant denflammer les poussires
ou les vapeurs.
c) Tenez les enfants et autres personnes loigns
durant lutilisation de loutil lectroportatif. En
cas dinattention vous risquez de perdre le contrle
sur lappareil.
2) Scurit relative au systme lectrique
a) La fiche de secteur de loutil lectroportatif doit
tre approprie la prise de courant. Ne modi-
fiez en aucun cas la fiche. Nutilisez pas de fi-
ches dadaptateur avec des appareils avec mise
la terre. Les fiches non modifies et les prises de
courant appropries rduisent le risque de choc
lectrique.
b) Evitez le contact physique avec des surfaces
mises la terre tels que tuyaux, radiateurs,
fours et rfrigrateurs. Il y a un risque lev de
choc lectrique au cas o votre corps serait reli
la terre.
c) Nexposez pas loutil lectroportatif la pluie ou
lhumidit. La pntration deau dans un outil
lectroportatif augmente le risque dun choc lectri-
que.
d) Nutilisez pas le cble dautres fins que celles
prvues, nutilisez pas le cble pour porter lap-
pareil ou pour laccrocher ou encore pour le d-
brancher de la prise de courant. Maintenez le
cble loign des sources de chaleur, des par-
ties grasses, des bords tranchants ou des par-
ties de lappareil en rotation. Un cble endom-
mag ou torsad augmente le risque dun choc
lectrique.
e) Au cas o vous utiliseriez loutil lectroportatif
lextrieur, utilisez une rallonge autorise ho-
mologue pour les applications extrieures.

3) Scurit des personnes
a) Restez vigilant, surveillez ce que vous faites.
Faites preuve de bon sens en utilisant loutil
lectroportatif. Nutilisez pas lappareil lorsque
vous tes fatigu ou aprs avoir consomm de
lalcool, des drogues ou avoir pris des mdica-
ments. Un moment dinattention lors de lutilisation
de lappareil peut entraner de graves blessures sur
les personnes.
b) Portez des quipements de protection. Portez
toujours des lunettes de protection. Le fait de
porter des quipements de protection personnels
tels que masque anti-poussires, chaussures de
scurit antidrapantes, casque de protection ou
protection acoustique suivant le travail effectuer,
rduit le risque de blessures.
c) Evitez une mise en service par mgarde. Assu-
rez-vous que linterrupteur est effectivement en
position darrt avant de retirer la fiche de la
prise de courant. Le fait de porter lappareil avec
le doigt sur linterrupteur ou de brancher lappareil
sur la source de courant lorsque linterrupteur est
en position de fonctionnement, peut entraner des
accidents.
d) Enlevez tout outil de rglage ou toute cl avant
de mettre lappareil en fonctionnement. Une cl
ou un outil se trouvant sur une partie en rotation
peut causer des blessures.
e) Ne surestimez pas vos capacits. Veillez gar-
der toujours une position stable et quilibre.
Ceci vous permet de mieux contrler lappareil dans
des situations inattendues.
f) Portez des vtements appropris. Ne portez pas
de vtements amples ni de bijoux. Maintenez
cheveux, vtements et gants loigns des par-
ties de lappareil en rotation. Des vtements am-
ples, des bijoux ou des cheveux longs peuvent tre
happs par des pices en mouvement.
g) Si des dispositifs servant aspirer ou re-
cueillir les poussires doivent tre utiliss, vri-
fiez que ceux-ci sont effectivement raccords et
quils sont correctement utiliss. Lutilisation de
tels dispositifs rduit les dangers dus aux poussi-
res.

4) Utilisation et emploi soigneux de loutil
lectroportatif
a) Ne surchargez pas lappareil. Utilisez loutil
lectroportatif appropri au travail effectuer.
Avec loutil lectroportatif appropri, vous travaille-
rez mieux et avec plus de scurit la vitesse pour
laquelle il est prvu.
b) Nutilisez pas un outil lectroportatif dont lin-
terrupteur est dfectueux. Un outil lectroportatif
qui ne peut plus tre mis en ou hors fonctionnement
est dangereux et doit tre rpar.
c) Retirer la fiche de la prise de courant avant def-
fectuer des rglages sur lappareil, de changer
les accessoires, ou de ranger lappareil. Cette
mesure de prcaution empche une mise en fonc-
tionnement involontaire.
d) Gardez les outils lectroportatifs non utiliss
hors de porte des enfants. Ne permettez pas
lutilisation de lappareil des personnes qui ne
se sont pas familiarises avec celui-ci ou qui
nont pas lu ces instructions. Les outils lectro-
portatifs sont dangereux lorsquils sont utiliss par
des personnes non inities.
e) Prenez soin des outils lectroportatifs. Vrifiez
que les parties en mouvement fonctionnent cor-
rectement et quelles ne soient pas coinces, et
contrlez si des parties sont casses ou en-
dommages de telle sorte que le bon fonction-
nement de lappareil sen trouve entrav. Faites
rparer les parties endommages avant dutili-
ser lappareil. De nombreux accidents sont dus
des outils lectroportatifs mal entretenus.
f) Maintenez les outils de coupe aiguiss et pro-
pres. Des outils soigneusement entretenus avec
des bords tranchants bien aiguiss se coincent
moins souvent et peuvent tre guids plus facile-
ment.
g) Utilisez les outils lectroportatifs, les accessoi-
res, les outils monter etc. conformment ces
instructions et aux prescriptions en vigueur
pour ce type dappareil. Tenez compte gale-
ment des conditions de travail et du travail ef-
fectuer. Lutilisation des outils lectroportatifs
dautres fins que celles prvues peut entraner des
situations dangereuses.

5) Utilisation et emploi soigneux des appareils
sans fil
a) Vrifiez que lappareil est effectivement en posi-
tion darrt avant de monter laccumulateur. Le
fait de monter un accumulateur dans un outil lec-
troportatif en position de fonctionnement peut cau-
ser des accidents.
b) Ne chargez les accumulateurs que dans des
chargeurs recommands par le fabricant. Un
chargeur appropri un type spcifique daccumu-
lateur peut engendrer un risque dincendie lorsquil
est utilis avec dautres accumulateurs.
c) Dans les outils lectroportatifs, nutilisez que
les accumulateurs spcialement prvus pour
celui-ci. Lutilisation de tout autre accumulateur
peut entraner des blessures et des risques dincen-
die.
d) Tenez laccumulateur non-utilis lcart de
toutes sortes dobjets mtalliques tels quagra-
fes, pices de monnaie, cls, clous, vis ou
autres, tant donn quun pontage peut provo-
quer un court-circuit. Un court-circuit entre les
contacts daccu peut provoquer des brlures ou un
incendie.
e) En cas dutilisation abusive, du liquide peut sor-
tir de laccumulateur. Evitez tout contact avec
ce liquide. En cas de contact accidentel, rincez
soigneusement avec de leau. Au cas o le li-
quide rentrerait dans les yeux, consultez en
plus un mdecin. Le liquide qui sort de laccumu-
lateur peut entraner des irritations de la peau ou
causer des brlures.
6) Service
a) Ne faites rparer votre outil lectroportatif que
par un personnel qualifi et seulement avec des
pices de rechange dorigine. Ceci permet das-
surer la scurit de lappareil.
