Entries are open to both amateurs and professionals from 6 Floral
Montana. Professional: One who derives income from art or 7 Wildlife
craft. Amateur: One who does not derive income from art or 8 Seascape
craft. Please do not enter copies of other artist's work on 9 Miscellaneous
printed photography. This is easily detected. The more 10 Any Other
original the design, conception, and execution by the
exhibitor, the more worthy it will be. Portraits may be done Class III E - Acrylic - Amateur
from an original photograph. The name of the artist must be Lot Item
placed on the back of the specimen, and it must be entered 1 Landscape
by the artist or his specified agent. Exhibitors may enter as 2 Still Life
many classes and lots as they desire, but only one entry in 3 Portraiture
each lot. Two entries may be entered in the "Any Other Item" 4 Composition with People
lot number. All entries must be ready for immediate display 5 Composition with Animal(s)
upon arrival. Pictures must be framed or matted with proper 6 Floral
hanging devices already in place. Pictures with glass, 7 Wildlife
entered at artist's own risk. Articles must have been made by 8 Seascape
the exhibitor. They must not have been in previous Butte- 9 Miscellaneous
Silver Bow County Fairs. All articles must have been made 10 Any Other
within the last five years.
Class III F - Acrylic - Professional
Ribbons are as follows: Blue - first place; Red - second Lot Item
place; White - third place; Light Blue - participant. The 1 Landscape
decision of the judge is final. 2 Still Life
