User Application Profile:
Please fill out the following table to identify your high volume applications and the
respective number of users. Your list should account for 80% to 90% of the total
application usage during peak hours. Add any significant applications for your deployment
which are not listed. "Peak Concurrent Connection / Synchronization" represents the
estimated highest number of users simultaneously accessing the Siebel Server/Database
environment. If you have Dedicated Web Clients, add rows to the appropriate Application
to account for these users.

Introduction
Please answer the questions in this appendix if you are implementing the Siebel horizontal product. For a vertical im
appendix below.
If your implementation will use data from non-Siebel sources, please fill out the "OBI External Data" tab to identify t
implementation data is from outside of Siebel, that is the only tab you need to fill out.
Please indicate the volume of initial Legacy/External data import into Siebel for the objects listed below. Youd typically
use a tool like EIM and do this just once for the production database, normally just before going live.
For the Record Length column, use the average length of incoming records (not the maximum if your numbers in
thousands of bytes, please double check). This record length will be used for all the disk size calculations. If you omit
these numbers, average numbers based on Expert Services experience will be used.

** List and include information about the extension tables and extension columns in these and base tables that you are planning to use.
Please indicate the volume and frequency of incremental Legacy/External data into Siebel for the objects listed below.
Please count inserts/updates/deletes to all fields for one record as one insert/update/delete.
These are the numbers where you continuously get data from the Legacy/External system, using tools like EIM. These
are NOT the records manipulated through Siebel user interface (you will enter those numbers in the Transaction Profile
section).

Purging/Archiving Profile
Are you planning on archiving and purging data from the Siebel production database on a timely basis?
If you plan to archive and purge Siebel data, please provide the volume and frequency estimate (if differs from the
frequency estimate mentioned above) for the following entities:

section.
Please enter the frequency and volume of transactions performed by an internal web client user. Example is a call
