About the book
At Trick Dog we change our cocktail menu every six months.
We like menus to look like just about anything other than a
cocktail menu. They have looked like paint swatch books; they
have looked like dog calendars; they have looked like Chinese
restaurant menus. For this, our tenth, we present to you What
Rhymes with Trick Dog? a childrens book.

The poems in this book are by Daniel Levin Becker.

The drawings are by Ferris Plock & Kelly Tunstall.
The printing is by Solstice Press.
The kind folks at McSweeneys helped along the way too.

We hope you like the book. We do.

This book is for sale. The proceeds will go to McSweeneys

and SOMArts. McSweeneys exists to champion ambitious
and inspired new writing, and to challenge conventional
expectations about where its found, how it looks, and
who participates. SOMArts a nonprofit organization that
collaborates with diverse artists and organizations to engage
the power of the arts to provoke just and fair inclusion,
cultural respect, and civic participation.

About the illustrators: Ferris Plock and Kelly Tunstall are

San Francisco-based artists who thrive in fog and angst, and
are the proud parents of two redheaded sons, Brixton and
Aengus. They have persisted in their chosen field for over a
decade showing and working in collaboration. The pair has
shown nationally and internationally, and took up residence
at the deYoung museum. With roots in San Franciscos
skateboard lowbrow humorist movements of the early aughts,
naturally their work is on permanent view at Michelin-starred
SPQR, A16, A16 Rockridge, Bar Crudo, and Mr. & Mrs.
Miscellaneous, and The Starling.

About the author: Daniel Levin Becker is a critic, editor,

translator, and Oulipian. He lives in Oakland.
