The 2008 Women's All State Choir gave a fabulous

performance under the direction of Dr. Rollo Dilworth!
Students and choral directors were definitely inspired by his
teaching and the sound he was able to achieve from the
Women's Choir. The concert itself was very uplifting! I'm sure these
ladies will never forget the experience. I would like to thank all who
hosted zone rehearsals and the many directors who volunteered at the
actual All State event.
Our conductor for 2009 is North Carolinas own Welborn Young of UNC-
Greensboro. Dr. Youngs bio is listed on page 4, and a list of the repertoire will be included in the
summer edition of the newsletter. I hope you can join us!

REMINDER: In 2009 choral directors who send students

to this event must be a member of NC-ACDA in order to
have students participate in the Women's Choir.
