The United States of America and the United Kingdom have many
differences in lifestyles, and school is not an exception.
Inside a typical American and British School, we find some information
you need to know. In American schools you usually sit individually, but
in the British you sit in a group of two or more. American students sit in
individual rows. British classroom organization is in rows of two or
in circles.
Bad behaviour during a class lesson is punished in both systems. In American school
USAs schools it is called time-out, but in the UK is called isolation.
Uniforms are an obligation in schools in the UK. In the USA not many
schools wear uniforms, students wear jeans and sneakers, only private
schools wear uniforms.
