Monday, July 10
Prov. 11:25 The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered
also himself.
Mighty God and Glorious Father:
Help me be soul-conscious of othersof their soul and eternal state
because then you will be conscious of me.
Help me consider the poor with compassion, like our Zambia Kids!
Seldom do I see in our city the deep misery like two-thirds of our world lives in.
Help me consider children (like our Zambia kids!), because then you will
look after me as your child. Help me get kids the gospel early in life.
Help me consider your flock, because then you will also feed me.
Let me water your ministry garden, because Lord I want you to water my
soul. I must fulfill the condition of this verse to see its promised fulfillment.
Do not let me care so much for myself that I grow too serious.
Do not let me analyze my own feelings so intensely I lose eagerness
for the things of God. Make me fervent in prayer for the lost!
Donot let me lament my weaknesses so much I grow too weak to lament.
Work all things together to make me unselfish, so out of love for my Lord
Jesus Christ I can take up the cross and become soul-conscious about others
around me; others like __________ and __________. If my tank seems low and
no rain comes, then give me faith to pour-out the rest of what I have on plants
around me. Then I will fill as I flow, because a secret spring is always at work,
supplied by your Spirit! If I stay stagnant I stay sealed, but while I water others
(by discipleship) you start to fill me. Do that today dear Jesus, as I look to pour
out the life-giving gospel to those who are thirsty this summer. Amen.

John 6:39 And this is the Fathers will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath
given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
Heavenly Lord and Holy Father:
How well I knowfrom your life and prayersthat my archenemy the
Devil is a liar from the beginning. But Lord, how very plausible he is! So just like
with Eve, many times I am led to believe his rationalizations, and use his
justifications myself. Your promise is that my experience will prove him a liar.
HE ACCUSES ME NIGHT AND DAY because of my sins. For this Lord, I give
him too much ammunition. He says I will fall from grace, shame my family,
dishonor my church, and end-up with those who are thrown away. But Lord I
trust in you, and trusting in you I will hold to the hard but right way, knowing,
Deut. 33:29 thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread
upon their high places.
HE TELLS ME I WILL LOSE MY JOB, my family will go hungry, I will be
kicked to the curb. But the feeder of the sparrow has not forgotten me! Prepare
me a table Lord, even in the presence of my enemies.
HE WHISPERS THE LORD WILL NOT DELIVER ME out of the trial looming in
the distance, this month or next. He threatens to break the camels back with the
last straw. What a liar he is! I know you will silence him by being my deliverer.
Oh how I praise your name!
HE TAKES GREAT DELIGHT IN TELLING ME HOW THE CHALLENGES OF
ENGAGING IN MINISTRY ARE TOO GREAT. How can you ever be trained for
leadership or discipleship? But there also, he shall be found a liar unto me.
Let me pass through the rivers this All-Church Camp week singing the
psalms of praise. I ask it for Jesus sake and glory alone. Amen.
FRIDAY CORPORATE PRAYER MINISTRY

Friday, July 14
Isa. 54:10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness
shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD
that hath mercy on thee.
Glorious God, Redeemer of My Soul:
The thing most attractive about your love is its permanence. The
foundations of the earth may move, but your children will still receive the
kindness of covenant salvation. That thought should inspire confidence in any
fearful believer among us. Make us intrepid in what we do for you today, and
do the same for our missionaries and ministers abroad.
Summer has come, but time does not change you, nor the goals you have
for us this year. Perpetual change turns us around spinning, but your love is the
everlasting constant. Some have already changed jobs, lost friends, and set out in
other directions this year, but no power conceivable (or inconceivable) can affect
the Eternal Purpose of God. When our circumstances are uncertain, you are sure.
Nothing of the past, in the present, or out in the future can cause you to be
unkind. That means in everything that happens you are proving your care
and concern through your providence.
Help us rest in that eternal kindness today. You made us near of kin.
Remember also your covenant of peace. Kindness and contentment are what we
count on to keep our heads above water, and hold us steady in turbulent times.
Especially be with those out of our church and ministry who are in
other places, on foreign soil. Some are actively deployed. Kindness and
covenant can get them throughthrough both isolation and attack. Be their
mighty God today! Lead us forward to the day when we all praise you, and rejoice
in your presence together, for so we ask it in Jesus holy name. Amen.
WEDNESDAYREVIVAL PRAYING

Wednesday, July 12
Ezek. 34:26 And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing;
and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.
O, My Father!
That you might make this Camp, and this summer a season for showers of
blessing! It will only come as a providential mercy: I will cause. Do we not
need divine mercy? Who else can say they will give showers but God? There is
only one voice the clouds listen to. Hear my prayer and do so, Lord, this week!
This mercy is your gift and cannot be created by mans plan or by program.
It must come as a needed mercy: I will cause the shower. What will our
church do this summer without showers? I can break-up the clods and sow my
seeds, but it is nothing without rain. In vain do I witness, until you send salvation
down. In vain do I work, until your Spirit empowers me.
It will come as an abundant mercy: I will cause the shower to come down. It
does not say you will send a few scattered drops, but a showering. Your tendency
is always to give blessing in such great measure I cannot receive it all. Lord, I beg
you for such plenteous grace, because it will keep me (1) humble, (2) prayerful,
and (3) holy. I need abundant grace to (a) make me zealous in ministry, (b)
preserve me in trial, and (c) give me a reward from you. I cannot do without a
saturating shower this summer. Send revival! Bring it through Camp week.
It will come as a seasonable mercy: to come down in his season. Is this my
season of dryness? That is the reason for showers! Is this my season of heaviness
and black clouds? Then that is the excuse for showers!
It will come as a varied mercy: there shall be showers of blessing. All kinds of
blessing I needone tied to another like a golden chainone blessing drawing
the other after it. I lift my hands and look to you for heavenly watering. Amen.

Psa. 34:14-15 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. The eyes of
the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
Almighty God My Redeemer:
I read, I believe, and I want to feed on what your word says. I plead and
parade it before you as my prayer. The one whom I fear is only a man or a
woman, while the one who promises to protect me is Creator and very God. This
infinite, intimate assurance is what more than covers my limited dangers.
Isa. 51:12-13 I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest
be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass; and
forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations
of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he
were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
Where is the fury of the oppressor? It is in your hand, Lord. Human fury is a
dying fury that will end soon. My fear is not well-founded if I am fearing this. Let
me stand in awe of no one else but you, because everybody else is just as frail
as I am. Selah.
Psa. 34:17-18 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of
all their troubles. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as
be of a contrite spirit.
I can make an idol out of a person when I pay them inordinate love. But I
can also turn them into an idol if I give them undue fear. Help me today to treat
people as people, and Lord, to give you all the honor of God. In that way I can
go calmly along the path of the hard but right way, and fulfill my duty to
righteousness. Make me a witness through the things I endure, and make me
outlast my oppressors! For so I ask it in Jesus spectacular name. Amen.

HOW TO BUILD A BALANCED LIFE
1) TIMEWORSHIP
Mark 1:35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and
departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
GIVE GOD THE FIRST PART OF EVERY DAY. The first commitment is
to a daily quiet time with God. Our weekly Prayer Diary provides a template for daily
devotions.
2) TITHEWORK
1 Cor 16:2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God
hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
GIVE GOD THE FIRST DIME OF EVERY DOLLARno questions
asked. Ten percent is a miniscule amount in our affluent society, but it must come
off the top in order to show that God is our priority. We want the blessing of the
firstfruits (first devotion, first dime and first day) to flow out to the rest of our
resources.
3) TEAMWORD
Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is;
but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
GIVE GOD THE FIRST DAY OF EVERY WEEK. You should fellowship
with a group of believers around the word of God every Sunday in our church.
QUALITY CHRISTIANITY INVOLVES THREE THINGS
Keeping Christ at the center (your core relationship of worship to God)
Keeping the body of Christ a priority (your congregational relationship of
walking with us)
Basing beliefs and actions on the mind of Christ (your church relationship in
the Word)

INTERCEDE WITH GOD INSTRUCT SAINTS
PROMPT PETITIONS KICKSTART DEVOTION
INSTRUCTIONS:
Baptists tend to ridicule liturgical churches that use "prepared prayers" because
they lack spontaneity. But for many Baptists, their prayers are so predictable they are
no more spontaneous than written-out prayers. The result is we end up praying the
same things over and over.
This daily Prayer Diary will prompt you on a wide range of prayer requests you
might not normally think of, while forcing you to articulate a deeper devotion to
God. We have included a daily Bible reading schedule. This plan will take you
through the Bible chronologically in a year.
Do not read ahead and do not try to catch up. Use each day as it comes. Then
you can know that on any given day, dozens of other people are lifting their hearts in
the same mind to God. Pray what is written, but use what is prayed as a springboard
for your own relationship with God. You learn to pray by praying.

Secret prayer is the secret of prayer, the soul of prayer, the seal of prayer, the
strength of prayer. If you do not pray alone you do not pray at all. Our Lord Jesus
Christ would go nowhere till He had prayed. He would attempt nothing till He had
prayed.
Oh, says one, I live in the spirit of prayer, and therefore I do not need times
and seasons for prayer. And do you think that Christ did not live in the spirit of
prayer? Yet He had to have his special time and place to pray. Do not fall under the
injurious notion that because your spirit cries to God in prayer all day long, therefore
there must not be some season for more immediately coming into Gods presence. If
you imagine this, I am afraid that it will prove a snare to your feet. The Lord Jesus
Christ, who knew better than you do that the main thing is the spirit of prayer rather
than the act of prayer, yet Himself retired into desert places to maintain the act and
exercise of prayer. Be spiritual. Be baptized into the spirit of prayer. But do not be
deceived by the enemy, who can steal a spirit away while we dream that we only
spiritualize it. We had better preserve the very bones of prayerthe posture, the
time, placerather than let it all ooze away into an impalpable mental condition.
God keep us prayerful. He will do so if He makes us like His dear Son.
